  1. That's a pity......my wife bought an 08 last week.

I'm sure it will sell fast, as hers was the fourth one to sell that same day.

Must be in demand as they are great little cars.

Shame! Hope you enjoy the one you bought though.

It's been great my wife having the swift as I always enjoy driving it when she can't be bothered to drive.

Hopefully it will sell well though (although secretly I wouldn't mind if it doesn't sell!)

  2. Brilliant little cars, funnily enough my mrs has a 09 in red with 31k on it (got it on 17k), has never put a foot wrong. Where did you get that nav by the way looks great, oh and the colour is supreme red not salsa ;)

Should sell easily at that price

I really like it, always enjoy driving it and it's been 100% reliable. Will be sad to see it go!

Thanks for colour name, I saw that salsa red on some of the paperwork but remember now that it is supreme red.

The sat nav is a great addition, it came with the car when we got it and I have no idea where it is from? It looks factory though.

  3. My wife is selling her Swift Sport due to us moving house soon and we can't really justify keeping it unfortunately.

It is a great fun car which handles really nicely and is in great condition.

It has done just under 31k, recent service including new spark plugs, 11 months MOT and still has some warranty left until July which we got from Stratstone Jaguar when the car was purchased.

I will be sad to see it go!

Main advert is on Pistonheads but thought someone here might be interested. I am based near Newcastle upon Tyne.

Plenty of photos in the ad.

  4. Pretty well known.

I've got avon z33 on and there a massive improvement over RE50s.

But if you want the best then it's Mitchelin Pilot Super Sports for the win.

What pressure do you run your ZZ3's at? I find mine a bit floaty at speed sometimes and think it might be pressure related.
  5. Hi, I would be interested if anyone has a sunset front bumper available, possibly due to having an

aftermarket one fitted. Must be in decent condition. I am based near Newcastle but may be able to arrange

    a courier to pick up.

Thanks in advance for any response!

    Nick

  6. I generally get 25-27mpg general driving.

On a recent 600 mile trip generally just sticking to speed limit and mostly motorway I averaged 34mpg! Was impressed.

This is all on the trip computer and not properly calculated mind!

Maf is a posssible issue&coasting in neutral won't help.

  8. I'm selling my Japspeed K1 exhaust as its too loud for me!

it came with the car when I bought it and is about 2 years old, I have done about 5000 miles with it.

Enjoyed it and it sounds great but in general I prefer something quieter so have changed to a K2.

    £130

Any questions please feel free to PM me!

    Cheers, Nick.

  9. Would recommend waxoyling for peace of mind! I did the wheel arches as well just as a preventative, there wasn't any rust there but had bad experiences with previous cars so thought I'd sort it asap!

I do have a stonechip between front wing and bumper which is bubbling a tiny bit, need to get it sorted although its not got any worse in the year I've had it!

The rust underneath is worrying but seemed to be superficial (I think!) Hopefully cured now!

  10. I ended up cleaning surface rust off underneath then got the car up on a lift and gave it a good coating of waxoyl. Even sprayed in all the drain holes underneath (without blocking them!)

Feel much better now, hopefully no more rust!

  11. I think its the pads chattering within the caliper , slowly reverse and apply brakes, you should hear a "clack" noise if so then thats what the problem is. It is the same on mine.

Very annoying but something you learn to l ive with i guess

The metal "nipples" are wear indicators, and does not matter if on inside or out.

this is exactly what i thought! Haven't had it on

my zed but did have it with my old ford puma and my girlfriends punto had the same thing. Think it just depends on what pads are fitted.

Puma only did it after a pad change and the punto did it from when it was bought (used) but dealer eventually sorted it!

I found it really irritating but don't think its anything to worry about!
