Speed don't kill.......................stopping does!
-
As said in this thread earlier - you've got to listen for much longer than a quick snippet to get Chris, Dave and crew (Dom, Tina, Aled, etc).
BTW - Did you pick up on Carrie, who called in today? Anyway, at fifty four-ish or is that 24? I hate the mindless boring setlists played hour upon hour to please the record(???) companies. for the same reason, I'm not too impressed with Aled, who sits on the playlist forum and is partly responsible for the crappy "Urban" and Lady Gaga that is played on a loop throughout the day.
However, cars - and more importantly Zeds. BST is on the way and driving's the game!
Just had first MOT and at 2000 miles and chuufin' out the back much less that your average Fresian! but at £450 insurance and the same for Road Fund License-to-hang-someone - I love the drive
-
Hi and like others, welcome.
What a fantastic looking car for 100K miles.
BST is on the way - enjoy the drive

If your mate is a professional sprayer, then he should have access to the paint codes to mix the correct shade of paint.
If you were nearer............................!

I looked at the 370 Roadster last friday whilst on a compulsary visit to the Steelership with my coup.
To some up in Roadster form, your 350 looks miles better.
The 370 Roadster, Mmm how can I say this "IT'S GOT A FAT ARSE" honestly they've got the back end all wrong imho.
The rear deck is really high. if you're under 5,8 you can't see over it. It might just have been the colour which was a poor immitation of Asure (Which is lovely)
Stick with the 350.
If it was a coup the my answer might be different.
If you do upgrade your rare Rosso Red, get another rare colour or special edition, just so you feel you've done the right thing.Black Edition - Trade it
Well, not really a contest, is it? I do like fat arses - only on cars I might say - and you're right about ensuring that I get an equally rare colour......but black??? ..........................Nooooooooooooo !!
Far too common as a 40th Anni and a devil to keep clean
So, that's it then..................I'm sticking with it and very pleased I love ZED and I'm not going to part with it, as originally planned.
By the way, although registering for a test drive on the 20th, I haven't recieved a call from the dealer yet, so they don't want my money as their finances are so well in order???
Thank you guys for the recommendations and replies

Damn those 'SHIFT' leaflets.
Now I've thought twice about upping to a 370Z now they've launched the roadster.
I can't really let my beast http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=34289 go, can I?
The only good point in my favour is the sheer enjoyment that the car has given me , oh and an extra point and that'll be the Rosso Red!
I've booked a test drive and Nissan GB have offered a £3K price reduction.
I'm not convinced that the styling outdoes the 350 and I do love my car (Anyone see the TV programme "Love the Beast " with actor Eric Bana on the relationship with cars to men??)

I'm very tempted to...but I won't ........ you all drive a Zed, so I won't.
As I commented earlier, this is a very good article by Dan and he's only giving free advice to keep you on the road....and full marks to Dan Thank you.
Don't mix your tyres and try to keep all four the same.
Bridgestone are the best and yes, I do know about Yokees, Falcon, Hancook et al on the road and track ( I was a member of Service Crew for a rally team and have karting experience, together with doing +100mph @ Silverstone whilst Pace Car setting 50mph 20 yrs ago) Blah-blah!!
Don't mix your tyres and try to keep all four the same.
Enjoy the ride
I LOVE the drive in mine.

A very well written article as to the whys-and-wherefores of spending a liitle more to keep you on the tarmac and out of the ditch.
On collection of my Zed, I was truly satisfied with their RE050 tyre choice as I've been running my 250bhp turbo-charged Saab beast on Bridgestone S02s and S03s for years now (the former has a fantastic tread pattern but is now only recommended for Porsches!).
The grip is fantastic and the wear is .......I don't really care as "tyres are the last thing touching the road before you go off".
..........and the Zed? Just reminds me of my karting experiences .
-
Yep
Now don't do as your no. plate when doing the Le Mans circuit, or you might not wake up to find the on-its-side-position you're left in.
And don't flip it like a Merc..........................otherwise, just enjoy!
-
Guess you're an import, judging by rear square no. plate

Hi,
I've been registered for a while now cause i was fancying a 350z so yesterday a bought one
It's a 55 plate GT4 which i got from "The Motorhouse" in Cannock, its got a quite distinctive number plate and was wondering if it was someones from this forum?
Cheers Kev
Hi Kev,
Your plate just tops it off.
I've always been a fan of personalised plates for the car not the person.

Hi Guys and girls, took a couple of roadsters out for a test drive and fell in love yesterday. just waiting for my bonus to be paid then i'll be joining the club
to the club (when you get one!! ). Its just coming up to Roadster weather. I have been out in mine all afternoon with the roof down. As long as its dry you have to have down, no "it's cold!!" excuses!!
not only to the club but to the topless section too !! There's nothing like driving ....... like driving with your top down on a sunny day with the wind brushing over you.

Nice - Grab the keys when you can and enjoy that lovely open-topped touring
-
Similar to 'SwanageDave', I'm 53 and I've been used to V8s for nearly 30 years with my other beast a stunning turbo-charged 250bhp that's an animal.
BTW, my girlfriend's 38 and she's owned hers for just over a year - she's also got a turbo-charged beast!
-
At least there's no squabbles over whose driving the Zed.
That's very true although being in a relationship, there's always squabbles and me being the man is always wrong - even when I'm all alone in an isolated field - heheh!
-
nice zed's and
Thanx for greet.
BTW, a mate of mine who bought a similar colour as yours way back in March '04 is always getting the rip taken out of him by his work colleagues (not me!):
----- 'When are you gonna get the top coat on then to cover the Datsun primer?-----
He takes it well, though.

to the club
Get your names down for the Wales trip
Hiya Rich,
Hopefully going on one to Switzerland or Italy (check where Top Gear went and that'll be a clue) so can't afford time to The Valleys ;-)
Nice car and thanx for the greet.

Nice cars, 'confuzed' ( http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=32335 )
and 'Z hopeful' ( http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=33490 ).
Here's mine, bought 22nd March 2008 and I was the first to see the new colour after having it flown in to me from Japan!!
The colour's so good................... it looks fast standing still - Ferrari and Gossard aren't the only ones to get it right !
Open for bribes if you want his phone number
OK, Photoshop came in handy but not for the car.
I just love to look at and drive this car
......................................................................................................
My girlfriend likes them so much, that she bought one too!!
Yep, she enjoyed the car so much, she just had to go and get one...........lovely!!
Blimey, I've never had so much trouble resizing images and servers synchronising the changes.
Anyway all done -
