Why not buy some wheels that fit correctly without the need for spacers??

well i like jade -rs if they didnt need spacers then great , but i think they mite need them, (not very helpful btw)

been reading loads of posts about offsets and its as clear as mud to me im going to order some 18" jade r alloys now the ad for them says 25-35 offsets will i get them to fit with or with out spacers and what size spacers would i need hoping to order them this week, thanks for any info

have no curbing and good tyres, any ideas how much they are roughly worth?

well i was looking to buy just rims as i knw someone in the tyre trade so round the £750 mark,

id love 19s but the budget wont allow it so 18s and lowering is the way im going unless i see a real good deal,

no full respray in bmw alpine white, get it back sat morning (hopefully)

not a perfect fit but you can not really notice, i smoothed out the skirts was gonna do the bumper but changed my mind

not sure what to call it but its a strip that go's along the tonneu cover on the outside (roadster),im respraying the car so have to remove this strip and then replace it with a new 1, cheers guys

im going to order some 19" jade r's next week and they come with 245/40/19 s all round has any1 got this size wheel and tyre ,are there any rubbing etc, also any pics as id like to see how much of the arch they fill, without lowering, cheers

iv also looked into getting somthing like that but id rather get one from the uk ,there are a lot of thm on ebay

you do it by pressing down the pedal, pretty much same as resetting but counting the flashes before clearing. the code wont be there now its cleared. Try setting up the controller again, if it works then great and if not and the warning light comes back on then pull the code so that you know the cause.

there a manual way to get the code, how did you reset it?

followed guide to reset ecu pressing down the throttle peddle etc how do u get the codes is ther a guide for it

You really should check what code was being thrown before resetting, how will you now know what the problem was??

so how do you know the controller is actually faulty - sounds more like it just triggered a fault on your car. if that's the case you might shell out for a new controller only to have the same issue?

 

Have you pulled the code to see what is wrong?

good point , iv reset ecu and no eml now but i mite try the controller again just to make sure
