The covers stick onto the back of the wing mirror. They don't wrap right the way around.

I was reading the old posts about aerodynamic impact... I'm an aerodynamicist and I've optimised a fair number of diffusers in the last few years. I'd say the angle looks too sharp for it to have any real effect, as diffusers work by reducing the static pressure underneath the rear end as the flow expands and decelerates. It looks damn sexy though, and you'd be surprised how many factory fitted diffusers do nothing for rear downforce! You could even ask if the zed needs a diffuser, judging by the short rear overhang and boot spoiler it'd not have massive rear lift

 

Perhaps you could gift me one and I'll run some simulations on it

How about cobra tips?

Cobra tips are fine with this diffuser. Its normally the ones that are abnormally big that you will have issues with.

Its been a while but we've had a fair bit of interest in the 350z CF Rear Diffusers again recently and have managed to get hold of 3 at the moment.

We can order more but these will be on a pre order basis and will take approximately 8 weeks to arrive.

Does this fit with the back box in place?

Yes these fit with the back box in place. Although there are restrictions when it comes to the size of the exhaust tips.
