Well I drove my zed from Milton Keynes to Birmingham and past Exeter today and did not have a single worry
-
Mate that is stunning
im now going to mop up!
-
i bet them roads are nice at the moment
-
if i had the money i would have a brand new jag xj; they are
same as i'd buy an alfa or an aston or a TVR
they all have their issues; does just seem to be badge bashing for the sake of 1 person.
chesterfields account of things hasn't put me off the cars, just the dealerships. and to be honest nissan did the same. so all i did was avoid the dealerships.
The only good Dealerships I have found are Mazda.
The Mazda Dealer in Taunton even helped me when an ex tried to screw me over.
She had the log book for my Mazda as she insured it and I was the named driver, when we split she said I had to sell the car and would not give me the log book unless I agreed... I spoke to my Dealer who I had got to do some work and he actually suggested that I brought her in and she signed the car over to him and he paid me via a cheque... then a week later he sold the car back to me for exactly the same amount, all I had to agree to was let them do some work to the car
The next weekend I had to pick some stuff up from my ex, I parked a bit down the road and told her I got a new car but not as nice as the Mazda her face when I drove past and waved out the window will stay with me for a very very long time
glad to see there are some good hearted people out there! wish i could have pulled a fast one like this on some of my exs, oh i did i got a house

ill let yous in on a secret, the snow fell off the roof of the house
oh balls missed that bit. ill stay by the fire then!
-
bloody hell how much snow was on there?
looking at the cars in the background it only looks lie a few inches?
makes me want to go and brush mine down!
-
Thanks guys! Yes there is water in the radiator, the overflow tank is more a less empty bellow the min line but that shouldnt matter should itbeing an overflow. If it was an air-lock then in theory would it not be struggling to stay cool on the move as well as when stationary...? I guess a talk through guide for checking would help to check weather the fans are at fault. But if the fans are at fault how does this solve the problem off cold air coming through vents when stationary even if the water temp is up to temp?
Cheers Ben
Having seen several similar threads in the past, as Alex says and who probably knows more about ZEDS than the rest of us put together on here (not including other spealist traders on here), the air lock suggestion does sound a strong possibility. Another possibility is the thermostat is stuck as your symptons sound very similar to an issue I had in another car many years ago.
But should you need parts ZMANALEX normally has everyting in stock (new and secondhand) and I'm sure he would talk you through the checking process if you contacted him
used him loads and he is cheap!(not personally but he parts, well he could be but ive never met him )
-
he is very very cute

-
so im thinking and only thinking, about changing my car in the new year for the 370z however im not sure on the changes from the 2009 to the 2010 models, i know the sat nav has been updated and a few other colours have come out but is that it???
also if i can really push me funds (god i love being single ) does anyone know if they are planning to bring out the Nismo model in the uk?
seen one or two 2009 models on auto trader for around the 22k mark and want to know i the 2010's are worth the extra cash!
