  1. i wouldnt recomend Elephant, we stayed here for the 2009 GP. Location in relation to the circuit was great 20mins walk to the entry at bottom of Aue Rouge but that is where the positives end.

the site is on 3 levels so by the end of day 1 the bottom sites was like scene from glastonbury and guess where the only shower block is. so you have to walk through the mud back to your tent kind of defeated the point of having the shower. cars couldnt get out either and there are no local shops.

Showers and toilets were kept clean but not enough for the size of site and the showers soon ran out of hot water.

i would suggest looking for a site at the other end of the circuit on the higher ground.

The road trip was easy, we left manchester about 4am and got the train about 11am IIRC then a clear run through northern france, Roads in Belgium are terrible btw

**edit** just saw your GA. get there early in the circuit for 7am and pick your spot during Friday practice bus stop last corner is good but there are loads of grass banks all round put the leg work in on Friday.

drop me a PM if want any more detail.

make sure you get a covered grandstand too, when it rains it really rains it nearly ruined our trip :boat: .

  2. whats with the "celebs" in the reasonably priced cars. they used to get people who had an interest in cars and the talk would centre around thier collections or car history, now its all about thier latest album, movie or TV show.

  3. if the universe is infinitely big, then the answer is simply that it isn't expanding into anything; instead, what is happening is that every region of the universe, every distance between every pair of galaxies, is being "stretched", but the overall size of the universe was infinitely big to begin with and continues to remain infinitely big as time goes on, so the universe's size doesn't change, and therefore it doesn't expand into anything. If, on the other hand, the universe has a finite size, then it may be legitimate to claim that there is something "outside of the universe" that the universe is expanding into. However, because we are, by definition, stuck within the space that makes up our universe and have no way to observe anything outside of it, this ceases to be a question that can be answered scientifically. So the answer in that case is that we really don't know what, if anything, the universe is expanding into

  6. cant decide if hamilton is that much better than Button, or the race just didnt pan out right for Jens.

I hope its the first, and lewis drove the wheels off the car :drive1 while jens was left to find excuses.

I agree Schumi will be there all season picking up Solid points and getting quicker each race.

will be good to see them race on a proper track, not a fan of these new far east circuits, its all about the money not the F1 racing spectical for the fans.

  7. Since getting the Z just before xmas I havent really been able to get out in the car and see how it feels and sounds due the weather ( and the misses being in the passanger seat) anyway took monday off work picked my little bro up and went for blast.

headed over towards Manchester airport and to the infamous tunnel where Ronaldo totalled his Ferrari.

Windows down and 3 things struck me.

1 wow this car sounds good around 5,500 rpm

2 how the hell did Rondaldo crash here?

3 I can see how Ronaldo crashed here, the tunnel just wants you to go faster.

  8. Got myself a JDM just before xmas, not the best time to get myself used to the car. owned RWD cars prevously but the Z in snow and Ice was interesting.

I have been looking round the site for a few weeks finally had time to introduce myself. I see there is a meet planned at Krispy Kreams in Manchester in Feb hope to be able to make an appearance in person.

Site is great, I have picked up some great bits of info and advice already

    Cheers.
