hi guys n gals,a few pics of the new car,very happy with it,going to keep it standard,apart from thinking about putting black wheels with a red pin stripe on it,wud 18 inch be best?or cud i go for 19 or 20 with lower profile tyres without upsetting the geometry? any advice would be welcome,cheers

i will just take it in and let the garage have a look for rattle,its not majorly bad,and only really heard it on my road,which is quite uneven,as for the c/control,i pressed the button,cruise control com up on dash,but no set light,think i was doing it right,unless someone can tell me im doing it wrong?

well ive got the new car,drove it 200 miles home today,really pleased,but,the cruise control didnt work,set light not coming on,and when i got to my road at end of journey,noticed bit of a knock rattle over the bumps in my road,from the front,im thinking link bars,anyone got any ideas,its under warranty,so shouldnt be a real problem!

well i have just looked at a chilli red zed,and bought it,pick it up next weekend,so guess now im a proper member of the forum lol

the wifes got a red mini,and i like it,and all the time i did stock car racing my cars have been red,think they stand out a bit,i suppose it all about personal preference!

why is it that you dont see many chilli red zeds for sale,or on the road?is it because they are not very desirable,only asking because im looking at one over the weekend,any views?

oh and i will add,when the roadsters first came out,i had some money and bought one,a gunmetal gt,brand new,anyway i took it for a long drive,the second day i had it,lovely sunny day,did over hundred miles,when i got home,noticed when i put it in reverse it made a terrible clanging noise,sounded like the clutch or flywheel,took it to dealer,chief mechanic agreed it wasnt right,they said they would look into it,another mechanic said some of them did this,so i thought im not paying £32k for a car that isnt right,so they had it back,but i still love them,and obviously not gona be spending so much money this time,has anyone else had problems like i had?????

yes maybe they will still want to race,lol,but with a scooby it was everytime i went out,mind you,usually id win,had a look peter,theres a couple im lookin at,looking at one saturday,gunmetal,1400 miles,55 plate for 12000,is that reasonable?

hi all,well after doing stock car racing since i was 16,have decided to pack up and get myself a nice road car,im 46 now,gotta take things easy lol,had a scooby sti with prodrive about 3 years ago,sold it with 7000 miles on the clock,was mint,but evryone wanted to race me,and trust me it used to scare the mrs,also had a sapphire cossie a few years ago,lookin for a nice zed,but its proving a bit difficult,will persevere tho,and hopefully learn a few things from you guys
