Anybody fancy Sat 21st May in the afternoon for a little meet???
P.S Anybody going to Japfest???
-
Used the scratch kit this past weekend from paints4u. I was pretty scared while using the wet and dry paper, once i buffed it off i could see that i'd patched it up but at least all the scratch that was showing before has gone. I don't know weather to just touch up the stone chips i have on the bonnet with just a cocktail stick and the paint i have.
It does say on the instructions that the results of the kit is down to the user.

Yeah am interested, Xscape is only an hour or so's drive from me.
-
Just ordered a scratch master kit from pains4u. Hope it works

Sounds like a plan to me

Cheers Martin, what do you need off me??
P.S I will be popping my meet cherry at Japfest too!

I bought my tickets back in Jan when they were doing 20% off, is there any chance i can join the club stand?

I got one off here http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk i put my car away this winter and it was as clean as the day i pulled the covers off 4 months later. Think i payed around £70 for it.
Hope this helps

Just nipped out to put some juice in my baby and while at the petrol station the guy at the next pump said "i really like your car mate, is it a Zonda??"
Well i had to laugh, think he got confused as i've changed the Nissan burger badges to 'Z' badges. I told him what it was but he couldn't believe it was a Nissan.
Well that has made my day...

well put

Thanks for your replies, think i might just save my cash a bit longer and get a more branded one
-
Well i thought i'd ask the question if they were good enough to put on the Z

Anybody got any advice on getting rid of stone chips? I see today in Halford's that they have there own touch up pens but i didn't want to go down this route if i didn't have to.

Bloody hell that is dedication!!!

Thanks for all the comments, it was 5 hrs well spent imo. Yeah i wish it would stay clean for at least a few days, but that is the price for having a Kuro car.

The only non Auto-Glym products i used was Autobrite Black Magic Carnauba Paste Wax that is great for black or dark colour cars and Auto-Sol for cleaning up the exhaust.
-
I use Auto-Glym, Halfords have 3 for 2 offer on at the minute so it would be rude not to stock up on some stuff. My girlfriend kept coming out every so often and kept asking what you doing to it now?? Bless she tried to take an interest because usually she just give's me grief on how much i spend cleaning it. I'll make her understand one day haha

Thought i'd give my Zed a nice clean and wax seeing as though it was a nice sunny day here in Grimsby.
It was light when i started..I'm sure many of you know what it's like when you get started

Thanks for all the replies, i'm going to Japfest so if anybody is going they can see it for themselves
