  1. Hi guys,

I currently have a new air filter, true dual exhaust with decats, plenum spacer and an uprev on my car.

I'm just wondering what else is worth adding to give me that little bit extra, without going down the FI or Nitrous route.

Is there any additional options out there? Started to look at bracing, but not so sure on the benefits...

    Cheers,

  2. Can't believe this, the one day I don't check the forum stuff comes up i've been looking for for ages!!!!

If the strut brace and/or brake/battery surrounds become available i'll definatley have them.

    Thanks,

  3. ProScan looks good, but you have to pay for that.

Anyone got any suggestions for good applications to use?

    Cheers,

I'm just using the free android Torque app.....seems to do the trick

Don't have an iphone or an andriod phone, so need to try to find some software I can run on the laptop.

A cd came with it, but it had 3 bits of flakey software that didn't really work :(

  4. digimoto 5 was what i used on my laptop was very good. still have it and the cable, but it won;t install on my works laptop as my works laptop is ghey.

I'm looking for a free one to be honest (or at least one I can try for free to check it works, after all these dodgyly written pieces of software keep crashing), unless you know where I can get a copy for free?

    Cheers,

  5. Hi guys. My reader arrived last week, and I've just got around to giving it a try. I actually opted for the USB rather than the bluetooth one, just so I could be confident in its connection.

I've tried the numerous bits of software that came with it, and non really work very well (some don't even pick up that I have the lead connected, some pick it up for a short while etc). I did get one working, but it was a demo version of another piece of software.

Does anyone have any recommendations for software I can run on the laptop to use this?

    Cheers,

  6. Purchased one, made sure it was a UK based one so should hopefully be here before the bank holiday weekend, happy days!

Is the software these come with easy to use? (I won't be using it from a phone, just a laptop)

    Cheers,

  7. Hi guys,

Just searching the forum and found this fairly recent post. I don't have an andriod or iphone, but would like to read the codes off my car and reset them.

What is the best cable/software combination for me to use on my laptop to read the codes? Mine is a UK 55 plate 350z if that makes any difference.

    Cheers in advance!

  8. I would strongly suggest not having Aluminium nuts anywhere near your car.

Pretty well all the nuts here would be fine:

As above M12x1.25 thread is what you need.

    Hi mate

Cheers for the reply. Noticed someone linked to these : viewtopic.php?f=113&t=57255 on there too.

Where do I send my £20 for a set of black ones? I assume these will fit my rays OK?

How quickly could you get these sent out?

    Thanks in advance,

  9. Hi guys,

Thought I would update this thread (Feb 2013). Shortly after I originally posted this I found some Rays which I bought and put on the car. Since then, the wheels have sat in the garage getting dusty and generally taking up space.

    Specs:

    Front:

2x20x9.5 et40 (I fitted a + 20mm spacer) = et20 - Note: The spacers don't come with the wheels, just to demo how they fit with these on.

    Falken FK452 245/35/20 (Just fitted < 50 miles ago)

    Rear:

    2x20x9.5 et15

    Falken FK452 255/35/20

They were on the car around 6 months, and not used too much. 1 wheel has a very small amount of kerbing, but apart from that the wheels are in mint condition. They were treated for 3 weeks before going on the car with numerous layers of protector (Poor boys sealant), and cleaned constantly (including the inside dish), so sparkle like new!

Looking for £999ono (Would consider offers + swaps for something z related etc)

How they sat on the car:

Given the wheels a good clean, come up really nice still!

  10. Can get you both, did I pm you on the Chargespeed ? It's pricey and probably a long lead time.

If you could PM me a price and delivery time on both that would be good. I've never actually found that style of seibon splitter in stock anywhere before!

    Cheers in advance,

  11.

Yeh, I do really like the look of this, however I'm trying to not stray too far from Stock if possible. So, for the rear, I'm ideally looking for something like the chargespeed bottomline kit, or something like this (http://www.seiboncarbon.com/products/ca ... 5NS350-AS/)

    Cheers,

  12. Cheers for the input guys. Have to be honest, I'm not a fan of the carbon diffuser linked to. I don't know what it is, just doesnt do it for me.

That chargespeed bottomline kit is absolutely perfect, does anyone know of any UK stockists?

  13. Cheers for the info. I've searched Steve350z and he only has one post, does he have another unsername?

Yeh, I had my eye on a front splitter that EP Racing had on ebay for ages, but it sold just as I was about to purchase. They do have another online (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Z33-35 ... 5639826702) but I don't like the look of that one at all!

Do you have any links/pics to the Stillen one? I've got (what I would consider) bags of room on the front so I don't mind a bit of depth.

    Cheers,
