  1. Tyres are within limits minimum for 9.5j wheel so tyre size ok
  2. I know my bad probably but was told this should go without issues,
  3. so question is within limits or need to rethink wheel sizes, thought this would have fitted without wheel spacers advice given seemed to be it would fit OK
  4. Lowered the car when I took pics will try and compress pics later get them up. Me panicking I think it's no worse than pic of golf
  5. Hi just trial fitting my JR11 wheels fronts are the problem 18x9.5 ET22, they just graze the Brembo calipers, so need to get spacers thinking 3 or 5 mm only thing is when I shimmed washers about 3 mm thick between wheel studs only getting clearance of 1.5 mm before caliper hitting wheel so tried shimming washers to about 5 mm better about 3 mm clearance which is better, only thing is wheel protrusion look at photos about 29 mm out of arch to wheel edge the JR11 has a rim puting it out farther. . whats the law on this will it pass MOT or do I need to consider returning 9.5 and getting 8.5 wheels tyres are 245 40 18. Bloody Brembo brakes causing major issues with these wheels I have photos but too large any idea how to resize them
  6. Cheers for reply looks like 3 mm then Saw these http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-3mm-Hubcentric-Wheel-spacers-Fit-Nissan-200sx-Skyline-350z-66-1-5x114-3-/191274653329?nav=SEARCH
  7. Yes brembo calipers don't know if 3 mm would be enough in case expansion from heat from brakes etc so thinking 5-6 mm. You can spin wheel slowly on test fit just grazes spokes
  8. Hi just got these 18x9.5j ET22 they just graze caliper but can bolt up, so now I need a spacer don't want to go much wider what's the smallest I can go looking at 5-6 mm?? Any help appreciated
  9. rather not have spacers but new wheels require them asked on here at a supplier and they thought no clearance issues, but wrong info so now have to get spacers for new wheels. need minimum as new wheels wide
  10. Hi just got new JR11 wheels 9.5X18 ET22, unfortunately just found out on trial fit, I will require spacers wheels bolt on but just graze calipers so want to know what is the minimum clearance I can get away with between wheels and calipers idealy the narrower the better so 3 or 5mm?? Also would this be a safe amount without changing wheel studs?? thanks
  11. Did you run car with spacers in pics? Any blemishes/ chips and do they clear brembo's Nice wheels
  12. OK thanks can sleep now
  13. OK exuse the ignorance, what is max in percentage tolerance before any problems as I see others running stretched tyres and all sort of combinations. Bloody confusing
  14. That's what I need to know so need to rethink tyre choices so what is the maximum tolerance before having problems as in percentage difference
  15. 275 40 18 on one of the size charts indicated this would make no difference in speed indicated any advice on tyre choice then
  16. Think jr11 with et22 fit without spacers looking at these myself
  17. Hi looking at set of these thinking of getting 9.5 up front and 10.5 in the rear; or 8.5F/ 9.5R or 9.5 F&R. Any thoughts looking for more stance so probably go for first choice. but do want ride and steering feel to be compromised too much. Will be putting 245 45 18 on fronts (might as well kill off tyres I have first). and thinking 275 40 18 on the rear as this does not effect speedo reading or 265 any thoughts as to which is best thanks for advice
  18. looking at getting a set of these, is there any tramling with 22 offset or all ok also do they clear brembo s without spacers
