  3. 2003 Nissan 350z (FairladyZ) This car was imported from Japan in 2008 and has been fully SVA certified with a UK registration, it also has all required certification including: Export certificate from Japan VOSA ministers approval certificate A certificate from OiS (odometer inspection services) confirming mileage on import to be 29674 The car has been undersealed same week as purchase and has covered 13,000 miles in the UK mainly on the motorway, and has covered 29,500 miles in Japan bringing the total mileage to 42,500. The underside of the car has been washed every 500 miles and body has been polished and waxed every 4500 miles. The car has been serviced every 4500 miles my myself, and every 9000 miles by a nissan dealer since I bought the car. Differential and gearbox oil was flushed and changed 12,000 miles ago. The car includes: Electric Windows Air Conditioning Rear heated windscreen Electric folding mirrors CD player Bluetooth phone connectivity including roof mounted microphone New Scorpion exhaust with lifetime warranty (nice purr, virtually no motorway drone) Stage 2 clutch (Only covered 2000 miles) Lightened single mass flywheel (greatly reduces the inertia of the drivetrain allowing the engine to rev more freely and provides much better clutch engagement but does produce some chatter, also only covered 2000 miles) RAYS 18" alloy wheels with Bridgestone tyres all round. (standard alloys for nissan so dont have to declare on insurance) Converted to use new UK battery instead of tiny useless Jap one less than 500 miles ago Coversion to MPH for all counters Thatcham cat 1 alarm Front Drivers side window motor has been recently replaced Needs pre cat lambda sensor replacement, throwing EML light All Auxiliary belts replaced 2000 miles ago MOT expires July 5th 2011 TAX expires end of June also Recent front windscreen replacement due to stone crack The reason I am selling this car is because I would like to start a family and require more practicality from my car, she will be much missed. £6250 or nearest offer, recently reduced from £7500 Please only arrange viewing if you are a serious buyer.
  4. Yep, to no avail.... Smashing your elbow into the door works better
  5. Hello, When the drivers window stops responding to the window controls, and requires a "nudge" to get it working again is that the regulator assembly or the actual motor that is naffed? Ive read the guide on here, which basically involves straightening the brushes on the motor, but does the assembly naff up too? Driving me insane... I gave it more than a nudge this morning
  6. Hello, I am replacing my clutch and flywheel soon and require some flywheel bolts, I had a long hard look and can only find places in america that sell these. Any ideas of a UK supplier that ships replacement bolts? cheers
  7. Hello, When I had purchased my JDM350z the foglight worked fine, but after the alarm was installed the foglight stopped working. The garage that fitted my alarm called me during fitting to say that they had found a strange relay and did not know what it did, so that disconnected it. My guess is they have disconnected the foglight! My MOT is due on monday, so that only gives me this weekend to take a look at the problem. My question is, where are the relays usually kept?
  8. I thought this was true! £314.00 has been refunded by larkspeedperformancecentre. Good to know im not going crazy, Ill try someone else. Thankyou.
  9. Just had my order rejected because I ordered a scorpion exhaust for my 2003 JDM. Can anyone tell me what differences there are between my car and a UK model? Which systems do fit a JDM?
  10. Thats really bad! They updated the advert AFTER I purchased the exhaust stating that it will not fit JDM Models! I still dont get it, are JDM's that different?
  11. I dont get it?! I just brought one of these on ebay from a company called Larkspeed. They refunded me saying I purchased this item in error? Scorpions fit on JDM's right?

    Scorpion vs K2

Thank-you, good to know just for piece of mind! Ive had exhaust nightmares in the past with my S2000

    Scorpion vs K2

I was just about to purchase a scorpion catback exhaust on ebay and in the advert it says it does not fit import models? Is this true? I cant imagine them being any different?

    Scorpion vs K2

Looks like ill be going scorpion then, cheers lads. I have a standard JDM at the mo... You mentioned that it was different to the standard UK exhaust? How?

    Scorpion vs K2

Is there any difference? They look exactly the same. I dont want to replace my mid pipe, I just want a nice sounding backbox, which one should I hold out for?
  16. Fixed. The ignition live for my I/O bluetooth phone connector jobby thing had disconnected. Which was always on. This would explain why my phone wasn't working properly as it was using my car as the designated headset when I was inside my house. Quite funny really as people walking past my car would hear a conversation that consisted of Hello? Hello? Hello? with no-one in the car! Reconnected. Happy days. Thanks for your help people
  17. Cheers mate, im sure you will be hearing from me tomorrow.
  18. Im going to try tonight when I get home, im pretty sure its going to be something stupid. Just going to check the connections, wrap everything in electrical tape, jump it and take it for a cruise and see what happens. It has got to be something wrong inside there, its just a electrical nightmare
  19. That would make sence, but I only disconnected the ISO adapter (mines an import) and then plugged it back in. Theres alot of things back there though. My alarm, my bluetooth car mobile phone detector thingy, cd player and the other wiring looms.
  20. 2 days ago, I had my aftermarket CD player and the dash all out to install a double din > single din facia adapter. Reinstalled everything, tested everything, all good. Since then, the 3 times I have had to start my car have become increasingly difficult. When this morning, it finally gave up and the starter motor just wurred a few times before failing. Sounds like when I reinstalled the CD player, somehow ive shorted something and its slowly draining the battery overnight and during the day when I am at work. Is this possible or am I going down the wrong road? cheers
  21. ahhh! Thanks for that. Back to the drawing board.
  22. Inadvertently yes. But this was in a S2000. 350z is 350Kg's heavier, im sure that would do the trick.
  23. I keep seeing a bile yellow ghetto volvo estate driving about around the medway / maidstone / sittingbourne area with the numberplate "350 DAN". I need that plate. This cannot be allowed to carry on. I rekon a 70mph+ smash to the drivers door should bend the volvo chassis and put the car in a scrapyard as well as preserving the number plates. In which when I will purchase them from the owner. Whos ready to donate their 350z for the sake of liberating this awesome numberplate?
