  1. OH for any skeptics out there... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2eCzbnri4s
  2. Heres a bit more background for you all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2eCzbnri4s&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffKqA44Id20&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CC0gS1Vi_74&feature=player_embedded Finally an Elgrand Bar-B-Q do you want more...?
  3. Stew Thanks for your support, obviously appreciate its a bit of a shock to 350z fans that Nissan developed the body shell for the VQ35DE V6 3.5L into a family MPV with a similar speed range and a long 8.2 sec 0-60 for a vehicle weighing in at 2.2 tonnes. Then again they further developed it into a GTR as well. Saw my first GTR in Newcastle on Friday, yes what a beastie. And it was in the same white pearlesence paint job as by Elgrand. Out of interest the GTR I understand uses the VQ35DE V6 3.5L blocks thats been super rated, is this true or have I got this ar5e about face? seymor54
  4. As your from Mothercar, perhaps you should think of a 350z MPV as its far better and safer than sticking your children on a roof rack.
  5. Hiya - no I am not mugging the forum, I am keeping it to a single TOPIC, use of the VQ35DE V6 3.5L Lump in a Nissan ELGRAND rather than a 350z we both share a common engine and that's the angle - it also creates contrast between the use of the engine in a 2 seater sports car, compared to a 8 seater MPV that both have a common parentage = NISSAN.
  6. 300Bhp - its a standard production car from NISSAN that is road worthy.
  7. OK heres photos of the ONLY NISMO Elgrand in the UK, oh and the boring white one is mine...
  8. mines not a NISMO, so haven't driven one, a friend has got one - its BIG BLACK and stunning and the only one in teh UK, but never driven it! one day
  9. OK going off thread, heres my other motor, had it for one week - went off roading and blew the engine!
  10. Yeap 21 MPVs cruising down the lights at Blackpool the biggest reflection of the night was when a policeman on point duty, stopped the whole of the traffic to let 21 MPVs through, as we drove through he was heard asking - " excuse me, what is that your driving!"
  11. Its that video that made me go all the way and import one in the first place...
  12. So there is a range of E51 Elgrands, all with either a standard 240 or a NISMO 300 bhp 350z engine
  13. Better still - here is my style of ELGRAND with the 350z engine
  14. oK fellas - heres our Youtube video of our BLACKPOOL08 run last september http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2ejjXVrO1Y
  15. OK now got photos added - so you can all look on in amazement what the Japanese have done to the 350z, wrapping it up in a MPV bodie seymor54
  16. OK I know you have all got 350z's, but some of us have a 350z MPV with 240bhp weighing in a 2.2 tonnes! currently the Nissan ELGRAND E51 is a rarity in the UK, as not many people wants a sports MPV, but it's FAST as a people carrier! what do you reckon? ok as this has got the VQ35DE V6 3.5L engine Iam looking for info on maintenance etc. I have set up a forum specifically for the elgrand and we now have a 176 members, of which there is only 6 of us with a 350z MPV, including a member based in the Netherlands. Currently interested in seeing if its possible to remove the japanese 110 mile limiter or possibly how to map the engine management system to improve fuel consumption. Currently averaging 22-24mpg have recently on a long run got up to 29mpg - so any pointers here will be most helpful all the best seymor54
