  1. Actually your correct its not an investiment i mean more a commitment, and something that I will love and enjoy. In terms of running costs etc, I have owned a 2.5 litre bmw for the last 5years with no real concerns and shall be keeping this as it is a great car. From my research, I don't really want to upset all you pre 2007 owners, but it worries me that a car that is doing so well gets a 80% rebuild on the engine, surely issues have been addressed with the previous engine. So that is the main reason, plus newer and should have lower miles. I have only seen and tested 1 car so far, from the nissan dealer. But was not a great example, felt abused and was a 2005 model anyway. Need to try out an 07 soon. Any tips on what to look out for, ie - funny noises, condition etc ?
  2. Guess i'll dream about them alloys just like dreaming about those babies on your pic - very nice!
  3. Jesus thats alot of cash! - £800 per wheel ? i guess thats with the tyres me hopes!
  4. oh and my price for the nismo full kit was allowing for spray and fitting
  5. np Maz, whats FI mean ?, sorry to be a dummy
  6. any others like them in the uk with that nice dark gunmetal style colour, really looks nice on the black car
  7. Can any of you guys give me a price for the wish list items ?
  8. Man these look awesome! http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgur ... 2%26um%3D1 wonder if you need to mod the 350z to fit these 20" alloys ?, buy similar in the uk ? price in uk ?
  9. So the general consesus is that the 350z will not really be effected by the arrival of the 370z in the next month or 2, and really the best time to buy is now ? btw Anubis im not waiting 3 yrs for a bargin, heheheh - months not years please
  10. Isn't the road tax increased on all 2006 models and above ?
  11. For 16k+ its an investment for me - but that don't mean I cant enjoy it I do agree that in the recession it would seem many people are holding on to their cars.
  12. Yea very true, just would love to get that 2007 (313) model with the 80% rebuild on the engine, and other slight tweaks
  13. With the arrival of the 370z in the next month or so, are we going to see some bargin 350z for sale?, I hear that on the forecourt a 2008/2009 350z will need to be shifted, so might be sold for a good price. What do you guys think ?, wait a month or 2 for the 370 to arrive then shop for a 350z ? Its hard times to guess on how the used market will go, part of me is perhaps seeing less used cars due to no-one buying new and holding onto the car until things get better, but then again the other side could be that people need the money so are selling up.
  14. Yes agree, very nice car. Im really after black, but have to say the grey is growing on me Good luck with the sale
  15. by the way. your not having any mid life crisis are you Well if you call getting grey hair, and receding a mid life crisis .. then yes
  16. My goals really, are to buy myself a sports car before I have kids. I currently own a BMW 325 ci sport coupe, which has been a brillant car, bullet proof engine ( not literally hehehe ) but have now handed that over to my fiancee, so I am driving her little 206 1.4 - considering im 6 foot 3 not the best of cars. When i bought the BMW, I really wanted the M3 but to exspensive and nearly bought a s2000, but due to my practical side went with the sensible approach. I am now in a position to have my sports car at a realistic price that I can afford
  17. Well really would like the 2007+ (313) due to the 80% rebuild of the engine. "The new-for-2007 350Z gets an engine that’s 80% new – and 8mm higher. Hence the purposeful swelling on the bonnet. The charismatic 3.5-litre V6 gets longer con rods, a wider range of operation for the variable valve timing and equal length exhaust manifolds. For the first time too, there are dual intake manifolds. The compression ratio is up from 10.3 to 10.6 to 1, all of which allows the new unit to produce 309bhp. It’s what Nissan’s sports car always needed" I did test drive a 2005 350z at a nissan garage and thought the car was a bad example and not looked after. Need to test drive more me thinks
  18. What do you think guys, any suggestions ? am I being realistic with the pricing ?
