went to the ace on monday evening and after a couple of mates and i went for a drive. these are just a teaser from my point and shoot as my mate took his digital slr, im just waiting for the hard copies to be sent over.

just wondering if anybody is planning on heading to the ace tomorrow evening. Looks like there is usually a good turn out for the performance nervana nights, some one has been before.

as above pictures would be good. maybe try megs scratch x before using a heavy compound.

plenty of sat nav builds done lads, check out the search button, there are installs from whole car pc's to simply making up a plate and fitting a tom tom behind it

afternoon, before i start please redirect me to the correct info if this has been asked before, i have only been here a week and still trying to navigate my way around.

When i bought my car it had the jwt pop charger fitted. It looks like there is enough room to improve the caf to the front grill. if anybody has done this, im sure they have, can you please tell me the length and diameter of piping used.

ha the clay us sonus ultra fine. the weather is starting to cloud over now so maybe this evening i can finally give it some more attention. Pretty happy with the sticker too, looks good against the black at the top of the glass.

So after picking the car up last friday i had planned that today i would give the car a full detail. i'm not normally one to complain about the sun coming out but i was today. at 8.30 the car was already too hot by the time i got round to claying it. unfortunately our garage is full of motorbikes and the car is too wide to fit so i gave up. i did however manage to fit a little something. and i have ordered my stubby aerial just waiting for it to arrive.

the bit that gets to me is that i asked the guy on the phone if they would insure under 25's on a 350z as i was wasting time with lots of insurance companies. the guy put me on hold to check and said unfortunately you dont. then i come on here and people at 22 (which i am on sunday) are being quoted. surely you underwriters have the same rules for everybody?

what a joke, i rang sky yesterday and they said they wounldnt insure me because im only 21?

sorry guys should have explained myself. the reason for not declaring it was because i was going to fit the original air box, although after reading some info into it i have paid the extra money and declared the filter. got it down to £787 plus the extra for the filter

just spoke with admiral as they rang me and dropped the price to £787 and im going to declare the induction kit. pretty happy to be honest as i thought i would be lucky if i got it for less than £900

yeah £805 is fully comp but not declaring the jwt pop charger it has fitted. bell wanted £920.

so im picking my 350 up on friday and being 22 on sunday i knew insurance wasnt going to be cheap. So far i have been quoted £805 with admiral which sounds pretty good as some other 'competitive' quotes have been about £3k.

from experience of other under 25s does this sounds like its a good deal or is there any where else thats going to be competitive. i have tried adrian flux and bell as well as the famous big names.

it has 38k on the clock and i paid 12k to include the p3 service mot and some attention to a small car park mark on the rear arch. and yes i didnt even notice the clear reflectors!

15k miles sounds good. its going to a nissan dealership to have to work done as they are purely a sales garage.

this is going to be a very long week!

yeah it was the blue one, he told me it had 70k on it. The bloke said he had lots of interest in it so i thought i would let him get on with it. Where did you buy from mate? Might have to have meet up in a couple of weeks.

Yeah i bought the car from Adrian Blyth in Grayshot, went to have a look at one at s20004u in alton but it was a high milage car for similar money and i think the salesman thought i was a joke.
