Just for reference.
I've just rung a trader I use at work and he tells me that although he wouldn't give any more than £4500 for it the moment the current Trade Book price of a 53 plate UK GT with book mileage (72K) is £5300. Its also worth noting that this is trade money IE not part exchanging the vehicle. You would expect a bit more if you part exchange.
So factor in another 14k miles and a little paint on the front bumper and its a correct valuation. You'd expect less as a part exchange as its only a guide and seeing as they arent so desirable at present traders offer less, if you trade it at a dealer then they will deal with you on a traders best offer
Anyhow its now sold!
-
One of my salesmen valued it using glasses guide or whatever they use however you will find traders offer even less because a 3.5 petrol isn't exactly desirable in current climate
-
Seems a fair price to me, exact same colour and spec as mine (although mine has 45k less on the clock) for 500 less than I paid.
Exactly that, i swear people on here live in fairy land! IF you took this to a garage it books at 4500 trade in and 6000 in open market

Make the most of this, looks like the summer is coming to an end

i think to be honest you could put people off being that cheap , i honestly think you could get more
its not mint but its a good car with no mechanical faults at all, lovely to drive and it seems fairly priced in current market?
-
what he said
Its not a mint example but its good car with nothing wrong with it
-
mileage is now at 86k, took it to the cotswolds for a few days and it drove beautifully

I've read the first 15/16 pages - has anyone actually logged the difference with one of these?
This. Is there any logging to prove the readings are different and does it change the limited throttle position values on Z's in lower gears?
-
im ok thank you i just wanted to confirm they crossed, pretty sure they do. Shame they didnt put the usual bkr*e plugs you normally find in japanese cars, i have a collection of them
-
Plug code for Z's is plfr5a-11 which i think crosses straight over to lfr5a-11 correct?

I like it mate, what other cars are you up against?
everything drifty from a supercharged 350z (Nicad on here?) to fully prepped R33 skylines, s-bodies, E30 bmw's etc....
Awesome fun!

Been having awesome fun this year and decided to test myself in this years Open Drift Championship. My chosen qualifying location is Santa Pod. This car owes me under £1000
The "rude bimmer" has been awesome and with only one round left its looking like its possible to qualify for finals
it is a shock considering the class of cars im up against...
Heres a few i bought from blackett photography who is always at santa pod, top guy in the thick of the action

I thought it was quite sedate here, we're all getting on!

Hi people i used to have a sunset orange uk 350z GT and i sold out to buy a house, now i have been offered a return to Z ownership through a good px offer

for 2nd hand calipers, wow. They are available from a brakes supplier i use, you have to wait a little while for them however. Damn i best start selling them on!
-
Really? They are £140 completely reconditioned....
-
passed details to my foreman but he's not interested in flashy ones just straight 2nd hand ones and wants a basic price
Ive told him to expect £150-200 for the calipers?
