cars booked in for a diagnosis end of the month and im bracing myself for the worst.

so assuming the mtor has to be puled etc anything worth upgrading while its out .

im thinking if the cams need s to be changed why go stock and i would have thought the headers would be much easyer to do same time too or is it not worth it ?

yeah pretty easy on the second bulb although near side was alot tighter to get the holder out in the open. i was just being a wuss and not pulling hard enough thinking it must be clipped

knob swap was alot easyer thankfully

just swapped mine for Greddy/trust from jdm and so far it was the easyest aprt to swap as the oem one just unscrewed by hand (guessing it maight have been swapped by a prev owner).

ok finaly got my new bulbs from jdm today along wiht a trust gear knob .... but canot for the life of me get the bulbs out of the holders !!! got the holder out easy enough by just taking the top bolt out and sliding the light forward abit but cna i get the bulb out noooooooooo,. need help asap before i go mad !

Same as Bulletmagnet no probs with speed bumps we have 2 that i go over where I live and my car is lowered on coilovers.

 

Would not go on Nissans ramp for mot though.

now that funny that it wont go on the rmaps for mot but is fine over bumps !

now i come to put in my Z and as it has th ebose id rather use the line outs than use speaker inputs and line level converter as that would be just pooh !

little question to all those with them , hows clearance on speed bumps as the car aprk at my office has some big bad mofo humps in it !

works sealed too . if your already working a set space then defiantly going to be choosing sub around your volume .

being only 6 ers they need just .3 cubes for the pair ported !

just out on interset how big is it back there im sure ive seen a photo. that made it look rather large.

if it is small say less than half a cube +1 on a decnt 8" and give it amps

soo muhc downforce , think of the traction youd get on those non driven wheels !

mines in tomoz for a window alignment (could do it my self but it gets in the garage to check ) , cant wait to get the ticking gone so i feel safe so to speak.... then its phlenum spacer , intake , maybe exhaust and RS tuning here i come for a remap !

its not just at idel/low revs either !

edit . just foudn the damper and yes the hose vibrates although it doenst seem liek thats doing it really !

ah does it have a chain , the service book sheets that i got say com belt change at 55k.

since its a chain could it be that clicking ?

ok just had a listen at lunch , I cant tell if its passenger side or not . i think its near the back of the engine could be drivers side but again not sure.

was serviced when i got it but it wasnt done by nissan , my owrry is that as its the 55k service it could be the dealer didnt do the cam belt so i rang and they are going to call back.

whats the fuel damper do and where abouts is it so i can try and have a more close look.
