I was told the laser pro park sensor is legal once it is deactivated . i think the dea is if you are detected a led lights up and its up to you to turn the system off after this. if they find it active on your car then it is illegal. To be perfectly honest i didnt really want the system but it was installe dby the previous owner

hi there. I ve just bought a 08 reg coupe and having a great time gettin to know the car. I bough from an independent sports specialist. Unfortunately they were not able to tell me much about the previous owner who has fitted a Laser Pro parking sensor system. All the dealer could tell me was that a switch on the dash activates it (there are sensors on both number plates). There is also an LED on the dash that never lights. Lo an behold I also dicovered that the prev owner has fitted a clarion mp3 connection thru radio freq and there is a audio in connector box in the centre console compatment. The switch which i was told activates the radar diffuser actually switches the radio to the mp3 input! I can also find no cradle for the bluetooth adapter(also absent!). Im not sure what to do now.... i want the bluetooth function and I would also liek to know how to activate the laser pro system. I was wondering if any one has these items fitted before and if indeed the bluettoth phone cradle/adapter had to be reomoved as a result. thanks!
