  1. hi ,i think the prices are going down already even though some seem to think thay are going up lol, thing with an import- i personaly think you get a better conditiond car of the same age as a uk car but you never really know the history and all seem to have silly low miles, the main problem with an import -insurance will cost more than a uk car and when you try to sell it no one seems to want an import,i have had 5 imports and enjoyed them all but got a uk car now and i dont think i will have another import ,i sold my 2003 azure blue with 33k miles for £8k which i bought for £12K so i lost £4k in less than a year,i think after 2003 imports and uk cars had the same suspension.

  2. how do those sill skirts fit? do they do the full lenght of the sill sorry if that sounds daft lol

Thay fit ontop of the excisting sill's ,i think thay get called quarter sills or wing's ,thay fit front and back of the sill.An add on.

Thanks Stew for putting up the pic's.

  3. Back up for sale, this kit was bought from dmcarbon, bargain £230 and i will pay postage, this kit is ,front lip, rear lip and sill skirts ,sill skirts are 4 pieces,i cant manage to put up pic's here so give me your email address and i will send pic's,please no pic collectors, chancers fools or idiots.

  4. was the new turbo bled properly as starting up the engine without the turbos been bled can nacker them in seconds, you should always make sure the turbos have oil, some guys remove the spark plugs and crank the engine over till their is oil pressure,

  5. I have this on an 18 month old Zed. Only happened in the coldest of mornings ... can bents wear in 18 months ??? :(

i wouldent worrey to much if it just squeels for a second,my skyline always did that,i tryed to tighten and tryed slackening the belts but it just did it,but just as you say it was only on a cold engine, just give the belt a feel to make shure it moves but not to much,it should have a little movement not to much and not to slack, start the car after a minute turn it off and feel the pully at alternator it should not be hot if it is the belt could be slack and slipping, thats wat causes the heat,a belt thats to tight will nacker the bairns in the alternator,so dont over tighten it.these belts last for years.

  6. Some nice cars their, thing with a classic is you have to buy the best you can get which always costs top dollar ,but no point in buying a shed,i have an old 8 series bimmer which is so minted i dont think i will ever sell it,cheep road tax and insurance but high running cost's.

  7. yep i see wat you mean but i was on about getting power out a standard engine before you have to go forged, mind to get power from an aspirated Z would cost crazy money compared to the supra, most people have never driven a powerfull turbo car but are always ready to comment on wat thay dont know,i have had 2 evos which takes the breath from me also had a gtr skyline, now i have an old bmw 8series 4.4 fuel guzzler :teeth:

  8. Are these OEM rear LEDs that have been smoked or an aftermarket set?

Might be worth getting some pics up in the thread it may generate more interest

hi,am holding on to these lights till next year as someone wants them so if the deal doesnt go ahead i will post pics then, cheers

  9. You will find that even the S2000 requires the key in order to start it with the button! ONly thing you cannot do in the S2000 is use they key to turn over

The new civic is the same, kind of silly but i like it.would be good to hide it out of sight though and disengage this function from the key, kind of an anti theft thingi.

  10. just read this post and i have to say that a supra would be an upgrade for someone looking for a really well built car as toyota are proberly the best built cars that come out of japan ,mind lexus is a toyota, the supra must be the easiest car from japan to get huge power for little money, one thing though is looks the 350 oozes looks (depends on colour)and the supra well its really ugley eh lol,the supra ,skyline gtr and honda nsx are proberly the best performance cars to come out of japan.

their is more to life than fast cars though.

  11. If you can afford to hang onto it for a bit longer to get a higher price then yes it is worth it. 350Z Values have gone up in the last few months, the market is starting to pick up.

do you really think values are going up ? look on the forum and see the car's reduced, also if a trader offers a price you have to remember he has to make profit after any work or service the car may need and too offer a warranty aswell,

thing is car's are not selling very well unless the price is silly and low .if something went wrong with the car i would rather pay more from a trader for piece or mind than getting the 2 fingers from a private deal.

  12. thing you have to ask yourself ,is it worth keeping it longer to get a better price as you watch the market price getting less and less, also its just a zed its nothing special it will never go up in value only go down, sorry for sounding a pain but its true.
