  1. SOLD Thanks to all who responded, Z-Boy was first on private message and got the bargin!
  2. Hi, Unfortunately I have had to sell my Nissan 350z so have taken out a couple of items I put in. Nissan 350z OEM Tonneau Cover - £50 Stubby Aerial - £5 I need to confirm postage and packaging costs but suspect £10.00. Thanks,
  3. Finally getting lots of bits and bobs done next week! Thanks to Z-Store for bits and pieces ordered (and Chilli's recommendations!). JWT Popcharger Eibach Wheel Spacers Stubby Aerial Then getting these fitted (apart from the aerial ) at TGM in Fleet after several recommendations from kind people on here. He had a look over the car and I'm getting a new set of replacement brake pads, two rear tyres (Camskill). Seemed really clued up and friendly which was good! Usual wheel alignment, service and MOT. My car's gona drive like a dream I hope hehe. Next mods I'm looking at are the pricier ones (not that the above is cheap!). Looking at: Grounding Kit 5zigen exhaust 5zigen y pipe Hi-Flow CATS For the grounding kit, I can only see the 5zigen one, which is pricey! lots of people have spills ones, but don't know where to get these!? Tim
  4. Yup, that's the ones! I'll be off to garage in next couple of days :-)
  5. Not scraping, just a squeaky noise when pulling up to traffic lights etc....I thought the squeaky noise was the warning the pads were low, but not down to the metal??
  6. Cheers all. May need discs because the pads have been scratching into them. I'm not sure if I've left it too late or not. Too be honest, I'm not very mechanically minded, so only reason I think the pads need changing is due to the loud squeaking which has started out of nowhere.... Tyres just have low tread...
  7. Hi All, Quick question, I have my service and MOT in October later this year. However, I don't certain bits on my car will hold out to then, and I need to get some new pads (possible discs too) and tyres. I wondered, from experience, of these items, which I could get anywhere (reputable dealer), and which I should get from the dealer? I fugred the dealer will probably charge OTT for tyres, but wasn't too sure on the brakes... Cheers, Tim
  8. WOW! That's all I can say to describe JP. For anyone who can afford it, or who can persuade their company to take them, do this, it truly is amazing. I've learnt so much from the day, mainly realising how hard it is to drive on a track, and how much their is to learn. To start with, it was raining so hard, which I actually saw as a good thing, particularly as we had the Caterhams up first! Interesting time on those, before off to the Clios and Porsches. I hated the Clios, no ABS (I know, I know, this is proper racing), but in the rain, it was a nightmare. The Porsche was very similar to the Jaguar XKR, pure power, amazing speed, and beautiful cars. Pity the 350zs aren't there anymore. I put in some pretty crap times throughout the day, but we then came onto the head to head caterhams, finishing with a doughnut, first to 3 wins. I went against a colleague who was one of our best drivers there, great times, and won 3 times even stalled on my last one doing the doughnut and still won haha. The real fun ones in the afternoon - Offroading in the Land Rover (not good after lunch!), Go-Karting (Great fun!), and then the LeMans car and Formula Palmer. I'm going to put up the on-board videos of these soon when I get round to it, but amazing speed. It's great the single seater, just pushing it to the max, pure pure power, 0-60 in 3 seconds! Big smile on my face after that day
  9. what was your favourite car? Did you spin out at all? Can't wait to watch it back, the first time I can drive a car legally at these sorta speeds hehe
  10. I have tan leather on a black car, and looks amazing! Go for it
  11. Thanks. So they will fit parts not supplied by them? i.e. just let them know first what you intend on getting? I guess it's a trip to youtube now to listen to different exhausts!?
  12. Hi All, Work are putting on Jonathan Palmer race day for us on Friday, and other than making a slight mess in my pants, also thinking the drive back from there in the 350z may be quite interesting! http://www.palmersport.com/ Anyone else done one of these all day sessions? What was your favourite car? I'm fancying a bit of the Formula Jaguar!
  13. Hey everyone. Advice needed please! Loving the 350z so much, but got abuse from a mate at work the other day who drives a porsche 996 turbo. Said I had a hairdryer exhaust! Now I obviously couldn't stand that, so I want to get induction kit and exhaust done on my car. Looking in some posts in the forum, the k1 looks a loud exhaust, and the pipercross induction kit looks good, but can anyone advise for sure? Also, unfortunately not very mechanical so looking for somewhere to get it all fitted professionally. I live in Ascot in Berkshire... Thanks in advance!!
  14. pictures are showing for me? Thanks for all the nice welcomes! Keep smiling at other random zed drivers, as if there is a little secret between em all haha. GT4 Zed, forgive the dumbness, but what you mean by detailing products?
  15. I do also apologise for the Type R in some of the pictures. My mate bought that the other day and seemed convinced it was going to be faster than mine....ah poor boy, I showed him what a mistake he made
  16. So I've been watching the forum for a fair bit and picked up my car around a month ago. Finally got round to taking pictures and registering blah blah, what do you all think? 56 Plate GT Model, Alezan Leather, Sat Nav etc. 20k miles on the clock and great condition. Picked it up for £13,590 (including 18 months warranty and 12 months road tax). I knocked em down from the £14,999 list price with 9 month warranty and no tax. So about a £2k saving, plus got £5k for my old honda civic (probably not worth that much!). Think it's a pretty good price...drove a hard bargin!
