  1. Thanks for that, I'll have a search round now I know what it's likely to be. It's due a service now anyway, so I'll get it looked at then. It was hard summarising my problem into a search term, but I'll have a punt now.
  2. I'm not sure how long it's been doing this for because the car spent most of it's time doing dual carriageway journeys, only recently have I used it for urban stuff more. When cold the clutch is 100% normal, resistance from the top of the pedal, bites perfectly in the middle, no problem at all. However, when it's been used a lot in stop-start city traffic (especially on warm days) the clutch travel changes significantly. It then has no resistance until just above the bite, where it engages and the final 55% of the clutch is as normal. It just concerns me that it goes from having no free play to having 45% free play. If I leave it parked for a few hours it returns back to normal. The clutch doesn't slip at all and the car is performing normally otherwise, just this concerns me slightly. Any ideas?
