I'm not sure how long it's been doing this for because the car spent most of it's time doing dual carriageway journeys, only recently have I used it for urban stuff more.
When cold the clutch is 100% normal, resistance from the top of the pedal, bites perfectly in the middle, no problem at all.
However, when it's been used a lot in stop-start city traffic (especially on warm days) the clutch travel changes significantly. It then has no resistance until just above the bite, where it engages and the final 55% of the clutch is as normal. It just concerns me that it goes from having no free play to having 45% free play.
If I leave it parked for a few hours it returns back to normal.
The clutch doesn't slip at all and the car is performing normally otherwise, just this concerns me slightly.
Any ideas?
