I've got 18 Rays with BS, i was just toying with the idea as the dotz have gunmetal centres which would match my car.

Sorry guys only half the story, they are Dotz Radium 19" fitted on a type R( one before latest shape).

Hi,Has anybody fitted type R alloys to their Z? Think offset is 40 so would spacers sort that

Mine just arrived today (thanks to chilli) have got it booked in with a mate on saturday to use his ramps but to be fair its actually less to fit without the y pipe so i might have a crack tomorrow with the axel stands.

how many people have fitted without ramps?

Hi, jacked her up as far as poss and put on stands.I too didn't have y-pipe so it was fairly straight forward....go for it

Fitted my Japspeed today, with bungs in it sounds just perfect.I fitted it myself at home with no problems at all, really pleased Would recommend to anyone.

Chances are slim with an et45 wheel but would probably fit with spacers. et35 may clear but I would certainly do a test fit before you made any potential purchase.

does anyone know if rx7 alloys would fit my 350z with brembos? They are 35/45 offset,5 x 114.3.

Hi, i currently have Bridgestone tyres on my zed which has only covered 9k miles.As with my RX8 these tyres are hideously loud . I've still got some mileage left on these unfortunately but when i change them i don't want to fork out on another brand to find them noisy aswell. What tyres are quieter than these??

whats the condition of the discs. If they are quite worn they can begin to make a squeal if there is a considerable lip

The discs are like new.Typically the noise has stopped since i moaned about it but i have ordered a set of red stuff brake pads to hopefully stop it from coming back.

45 and mentally 18 Don't care what i'm suppose to have at this age i just go with what car looks /drives good for the dosh.

Hi guys,had my zed for about a week and my rear brakes have started squeaking.They are brembos and it's a VERY annoying pulsating squeak.The squeaking disappears when i pull handbrake up/normally brake.I've taken the pads out(half worn ish) and copper greased between the metal plate and the back of the pad side.It did nothing.Any suggestions?? Any help most welcome.PS car has only done 8k miles.

Hi Mike, it was great fun.I had de-cat pipes on a flowmaster system,eibach suspension,strutbrace etc.Wasn't in TVR league of handling but it was very reliable!! It was 5 speed manual with quickshift.....dam .,why did i sell it Oh yes...12-16mpg

Hey, just thought i'd say hi, got my Zed on Wednesday.It's a 350z 04,8k miles with full history/1 owner in gunmetal grey. I know it's not the GT but it has the brembo's/rays and pristine.Previous cars;4.6GTV8 Mustang,231 RX8,Cooper S,330ci BM,190 Celica,2.8 capri,6.6 trans-am.Looks a great forum with loads of useful information.
