  3. Hi guys.. been a while since I've been on here!

Mods -I hope it's okay posting this up? :)

Just wanted to invite you all along to a tunnel run I'm organising in aid of Royal London Hospital Kidney Patients Association smile.gif

    Details below:

Back again for 2010, we present another London Tunnel Run, hosted by MissBanzai.com inviting all Japanese car owners!

*** Note this is for Japanese cars only -no exceptions.. non Jap cars will be refused entry **

The run will kick off at Essex Arena (RM19 1AE) on Saturday 13th March from 9.30pm. Maps will be handed out on arrival to those who have pre-paid through the Just Giving site. There will be no entry to the site after 10.30pm.

Please register your attendance by visting www.justgiving.com/TunnelRunMarch2010 and donating your £5.00 entry fee. (Please put user name & club in the comments). Donations made via the Just Giving site will go direct to the nominated charity, Royal London Hospital Kidney Patients Association. This charity was chosen as one of our members who raised extra donations last time has had to undergo a transplant -so we thought it was a good way of showing our appreciation for their help last time!

In comments please put your club name & forum user name -nothing else! (this list will be used to hand out the route maps of the run on the night -there *may* be a limited number of maps on the night BUT this is NOT guaranteed).

-Please arrive at the arena at 9.30pm. PLEASE NOTE you should use the go kart track entrance to the arena. There will be a £1 cash charge entry fee on the gate to cover the arena hire costs.

-Payments for maps can only be taken up to 13:00 on 13th March on the Just Giving site. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER AFTER THIS TIME or you will not be included on the list of maps for us to allocate on the night! If you do not pay you are not guaranteed a map.

-Entry is £5 for a map (prepay on Just Giving) and £1 per person in cash on the gate to the arena on the night to cover the arena costs.

-This event is for Japanese cars only.. nothing else! There will be marshalls on the gate.

-Please remember to drive responsibly -anyone not doing so will be asked to leave the site.

-You will need to bring sat nav / London A-Z for when you get lost. A passenger / map reader is also a must!

Sky Insurance will be awarding two prizes on the night for the best turned out car of the evening. The prizes could be awarded to any Jap cars from Civics to Skylines... so get polishing!!! Prizes to be confirmed

Hope to see some of you there! Any questions, please drop a mail to missbanzai@googlemail.com or post your questions here! We had approx 300 cars from various different Jap car clubs along last time, so make sure you come along and be part of it and help raise some cash for a worthy cause!!

Had a few from here last time, so would be great to get another good 350 turnout!! :)

  4. (2) pearl350

im looking forward to it, hope to see all the faces from the forum. is there a direct meet for all the z's

If you are attending, make sure you pre pay on he Just Giving site (link in the first post) as this will get you a map on the evening

  5. Hey guys.. this is this coming Saturday!

Had a good 300 + cars down last time -would be great to see some of you down there again this time, had a good 350 turnout for the one we did back in February! :)

We will have no issues this time with start and end points -as we have Essex Arena to start at, and have sorted out a large area to park at for the end point.. with 24 hour food! :)

We did the route to check it out on Friday... and IMO it's alot better than the last one.. more tunnels and more of an interesting drive :D

If you are going to attend please pre-pay on the Just Giving site (£5 per car). You will then pay £1 per person to get into the area, to cover costs.

Sky Insurance will be down with a prize for the best car again.. and there will be plenty of photographers taking pics.. maybe even some mag coverage :)

  6. I parked my car in a carpark in town, went to the machine to grab a ticket, to find some f**kwit had parked his poncy 4x4 (not a proper 4x4, a polished take the kids to school in central london one) right next to my s14, and was leaning his door against the side of my effing car while his kids got out the back!!!

The cheek of people never ceases to amze me... Did see red and have a bit of a go at him.. he couldn't see what I was so p*ssed off about! Grrr!! ****!

  7. Another good one is that Auto Glym bug and tar remover... gets stuff off really easily.. and you can use it on paintwork..

After I took my graphics off the MR2 I cleaned up the paintwork with that.. worked a treat :teeth:

  8. Already signed up

How do we get notifications? Do you send out messages manually?

And do you really have pink fluffy dice hanging on your mirror :surrender::lol: (just kidding :) ) I assume thats you as the admin of the group.

Yeah.. going to try and put pics on there once the evenings get lighter :)

Will also probably message out all the members a few days beforehand :)

hahaha.. yeah I do have pink dice.. me and a mate both got some kind of as a p*ss take for JAE 07.. and they kinda stuck.. we get fed up with being asked stuff like 'is that your boyfriends car?' etc...

  9. M350Z -have a look on the Flikr link I posted.. maybe one on there.

Or on the facebook event for MissBanzai Tunnel run -I know people are adding pics to that.

There may be a few smaller local meets going on soon -we're thinking of doing a photoshoot soon -and possibly another run this year. I'll post the run on here when we have it.. But if you're up for coming along to any of our smaller meets (like the photoshoot) would be an idea to sign up and check out the local meets / shows and trackdays sections, as I can't copy and paste them onto all the forums I'm on!
