thanks very much for the reply ittlecbigd - at least i now know where i stand with the screen. somthing i will have to live with if i go ahead with the car

hi all i was looking at a 2003 uk model 350z with the birds eye sat nav looks like the previous owner has used somthing dodgy to clean the screen which has left a unsightly stain/ splash mark in direct sunlight. looks like it is permanent and won't clean off the sat nav is otherwise workinfg fine is it possible to replace the screen cover? the 2003 dvd comes with the car - is there an alternative to paying a nissan dealer 400+ for an update? thanks oh and is the screen touch sensitive ?
