  2. With no weight over the rear axle, regardless of which tyre you had (unless it was spiked), you aren't getting any traction in this weather. Unlucky. I almost repeated what you did by entering a full spin whilst driving sensibly forwards the other day. She's been parked up since under her blanket of snow. I can't even get off my driveway. Do I gather that everyone hates the Nankang?

  4. I had an FQ300 running 324bhp. Cracking cars, thing is 94 miles on a full tank is no good, especially when V-Power is £1.17 p/l. Good luck with your deal, get some pics up.
  5. What's worse than a Male Chauvinist Pig? A woman who won't do what she's told #class#
  6. Even though the guide price of my car has declined, I wonder if dealers are more inclined to hit their targets early at the moment, as my px value has gone up now, even though I'm still looking at deals with the same cars in the same price range?? How did you get on with the Porsche? ( I have 2006 coupe 22k FNSH- 9/10 condition ) I seem to attract £12-£13k now in a px. Better.
  7. It's a nightmare trying to sell a 2 seater that drinks from my current situation, looks like a px is the only way forwad in some instances (including mine). What is a 'bump' in the context of typing?
  8. With de-cats I gather you gain bhp, but don't you lose torque???? Would this be rectified with a re-map? I have no experience with having fitted de-cats so admit I might not know what I'm talking about.
  9. Really nice example, £20k is alot to some who are buying a weekend toy/2nd car though. I failed in selling mine also, and I advertised my 2006 Z for £16. £1.17 per litre doesn't do you any favours either.
  10. You can get a scorpion off ebay for £214 delivered, or I;ve just spotted this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350Z-Nismo ... 3efb8e94ad
  11. Someone stuck a post on quite recently with this style exhaust and a tuck (american pics I think), have a flick through to help you make your mind up. Personally I'm not too sure on those silencers, and would go for a K2 from CS as I much prefer the standard look (but shiny).
  12. Yo, I'm not trying to seriously offend any one (original poster), just would have placed my own ad ( as I have previously, and also have stated that I would have taken a px against mine ) in a slightly different matter, and would have kept the melodramatic style out of it. But yeah, shouldn't be placing other forum members in a 'knobhead from a poorly inherited gene pool' category. Without a bit of banter where would the fun be!
  13. Obviously a little too serious I think. Obviously I actually strain to think, as due to my poorly constructed genetic background, I can but only just manage the basic motor functions. My English language capabilities are extremely archaic and I struggle immensely with complex requests. Also I am only seven and a half years old (mentally not chronologically of course, that would be silly). I was however gifted with the capability to bash random keys on a computer keyboard, and slam my monkey hands about something called a computer mouse. I keep offering my mouse cheese, but it obviously has a more cultured and refined taste for the finer foods, those preferred by the upper classes I presume, and obviously those with a much greater intellect than my own. And of course a greater ability to use the English language more accurately and with greater skill. Maybe when placing a very vague and random post, submissively encouraging people to respond by using silly comments, and by placing yourself up on a pedestal by separating yourself aside from other forum members who are obviously 'knob heads' whilst you are not , you shouldn't expect anything else, and possibly somewhere along the line, develop a ****ing sense of humor, as this is an 'open' forum. I genuinely hope you get the deal you are looking for, as yes many of us are feeling the pinch, and to keep the stealers out of the picture benefits all parties concerned. Although I do recommend you watch a Jimmi Carr DVD, as he can assist you tenfold with your over-educated remarks.
  14. I have an imported and damaged triptronic. I lie all of the time so when I say it's been well looked after I mean I thrash it so hard as though I want it to die. I also don't like to shift up out of first gear until I'm doing at least 37mph, I hear this is better for fuel economy and that it's the best way to run my engine in until I get to 30k on the clock. I'd take a px with any car whatsoever as long as it's heavily modded and the colour orange, and I get £15k on top. Also most people think I'm a right knob head. :teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth: GWWTS
  15. I had a 2.9 XR4X4 for tracking, cost me £700 and it was ace. A single day out had cost me just shy of £2k in my Evo, so I was more than prepared to write my £700 Sierra off, wiping out anything in my way that tried to undertake me. The value of my car truly added enjoyment as a replacement for any real performance. You got a steal of a bargain for the 106, and could probably fetch £500 on ebay for it! You'll have a blast at Cadwell, and more than likely tip it! Go steady
  16. You can get those copies off ebay uk. Around the 300 nicker mark I think. Never been a fan of the whole 'bumper tuck' though, bet it's a ****ing pain laying on the floor and polishing those cans and silencers once a week.
  17. Just read your initial post regarding the ringing in your ears and pi**ed myself. Are you going back to stock then to remove the hooliganism from your car and return it to a sensible sports coupe Good luck
  18. You're looking at £10600 - £11000 for a px at trade at the moment from my extensive car shopping recently. Granted stealers want to pay **** all for my car in a px, but if that's the case, then I also want to pay **** all for the car I'm buying off them, and get that at a ****ing trade price. I could roll up in my car, leave them the keys, and they could roll it straight onto the fore court with no work at all, but stick £4k more on the window than they'd have just paid me for it. I refuse to px mine now due to the substantial loss I'll suffer (approx £1k for every 10k miles), and am waiting on a private sale. Cheaper to keep your car and get a bank loan, rather than take a massive loss and have to pay for the majority of your car twice for someone else to benefit from the depreciation. In my opinion anyway. Good luck either way.
  19. Not booked in this year but we were in Melbourne a couple of years ago and saw it there. Awesome. Nothing can prepare you for the noise, and the outrageous cost of a scuna! Enjoy yourself buddy, make sure you wear a sun hat!
  20. Maybe I could read the date on the post before I waste my time typing nonsense
  21. Not to offend anyone as the thread has gone both ways so far, but maybe you could 'upgrade/downgrade/whatever' by throwing your car in against a 350 in a px and add some cash, this way you may end up with a right spanker that's already had some power mods, so you still get that straight line speed you're after? All the best either way and hope you get what you're after
  22. Will cost you £90 from Nissan otherwise, so I'd drive back there and ask for one.
