Well this weekend i finally did.....
Deposit paid on :
Just 28k miles....
We looked for a Blue, Didnt realise they seemed to command a premium. There were two other parties waiting to view/drive this car as we were signing the paperwork !!
Pick it up this Saturday. It'll be the other halfs car but i will get to enjoy the Zed at weekends!!!
First mods need to be spacers and wheels.

Great thanks for that.
I'll keep searching for the right car !
-
Ive searched the FAQ's about GT specs and come up with leather, Cruise and BOSE as the only differences.
Is this all ?
I was once told the Brembo's and also the Suspension were upgraded on GT cars.
Sorry for the Noob question that i'm sures asked a thousand times a month but i'm just looking at the specs now and wanted to be put straight.
Thanks
McD

Yea the car no doubt will be advertised elsewhere soon, Just wanted to gauge a feeler initially on here.
Looking forward to having another test drive in a Zed which should just seal the fact we need a 2 seater in the household !
-
Thanks for the welcomes,
Yes ive been on ukmkivs a good few years but not really much of a poster on there anymore.
Looking forward to comparing the Zed to the R32 anyways.

If your after tyres try here : http://www.camskill.co.uk/
Ive never found cheaper, Just remember to add £10 per tyre as thats what you'll need to pay to have them fitted on average.

Hi,
The names Steve, Currently spend my days on R32 owners club which i helped set up a few years back.
Joined the site about 12months ago when i was thinking about swapping the Mk4 R32 i previously owned for a Zed.
Now after 3 years of R32 ownership (mk4 and mk5) i'm back looking at Zeds again!!!
Currently the driveway at home looks like this :
The girlfriends car
My motor
My old R32
Hope to be joining 350 ownership soon...finally!!

I may pop along to an owners meet....
Not got a Zed yet but be good to chat about the car
-
Theres a web site somewhere that allows you to type in wheel size and caluculates which tyres you need to get so the speedo reads as near as possible to stock readout.
I'll try find it.
I made the mistake of just using 19's instead of 18's and with the wrong tyres the speedo was well out on my golf.

These look good, Any plans for another batch?
-
Spotted around 1pm on the main shopping area near the beach.
Stunningly clean black 06 plate Zed with Rays.
Anyone from here?
-
spotted at the t-lights near Tesco. Think it was silver but it had a Nismo or simular rear spoiler. Looked a bit beefed up to so perhaps a bodykit. Either way looked good. ........ On here ?
-
Heated seats are a must when you have full leather. Altho i've even used them when i've hurt my back too, Its like using a heat bad... great ! (i was driving for a reason not just sat in the car cos i had a sore back for the record)
-
I cant make my mind up if i shud go for the Azure blue or gunmetal grey ? I like the 32 blue so much and also u hardly see many Zed's in blue.
-
Awesome , thanks.
Liking those LED side lights, pretty trick !
What are they from ?
Fitting a standard spoiler

If your too worried to drill i'd suggest using the bonding compound bodyshops use.
Dont use 3m tape as it'll eventually deteriorate as it gets wet.
