47th Annual Rally , Sunday 07/08/11 - Oldmeldrum NE Scotland.
My Dad is a member of the Society and although this event is classic car and restoration orientated I have previously displayed my Skyline at the show.
Entrance Forms can be downloaded here; http://www.gvrs.net/rallyforms.html
I am going to enter my Zed in the rally under special interest and would ideally like to see some support from some fellow Zed enthusiasts - good chance to meet up and display some cars.
Anyone interested? The show includes a static display , optional road run and optional driving tests.
you seriously need someone to take over that website - its appalling (hope its not you who set it up )
Nothing to do with me or my Father, it's a classic car club website what do you expect lol
Anyway thanks for your helpful advice.

Here you go Stan, just for you:
Hi Cara - back (after only 3 days forum fast! )
Thanks for the pics - tell hubby to save time and effort and just a brand new reshell and hang the old bits off it - save him about 3years of his life doing it!
Looks good actually has he been putting 2 pence pieces in the door jams while he welds the hinge back on to get the alignment!
Nice project for him then and lots of tuning potential with that engine - also I see its the lovely chrome bumper model pre that ugly rubber bumper one they had to do for the states - (sorry shutting up now - just tipping the dandruff out of my anorak!)
good luck with it and your next job etc - welcome back to the forum
That's old pics Cara and no I havent got as far as the A Post yet which will is getting completly replaced. The shell is braced at the minute and so far I have replaced the front drivers side inner wing and web. Next its the pass side inner wing , web and front panel. Been busy with other cars and a honeymoon recently , will hopefully get some more done this time home.
Re-shell is cheating. I'm doing it the hard way lol
The project is just a sideline that I aqquired recently. No rush to get the car finished.
She's a 1275 A Series engine and yup your right its the chrome bumper model.
Oh and the Saxo VTS runaround was my choice!

18x10 ET15
in Wheels
I am currently looking at some options for a new set of alloy wheels and tyres.
I quite fancied 18x9.5 all round with a +20 offset to get the look I wanted but I cannot get them.
Been offered a package 18x10 ET15 with 255/35/18 front, 255/40/18 rear.
Any thoughts on this? I am assured this set up goes on fine by a very reputable company.
Any advice welcome.

I owned a Nissan Skyline R33 GTSt for almost five years. Which I took through a variety of guises.
Dont be put off by a GTSt as everyone allways immediately thinks GTR. My GTST could do 180mph and it did the 1/4 mile in 11.0 secs.
When I bought her she was originally painted in rage flip paint which I soon changed as show in the next few pics.
House of Kolor kandy gold.
Here's the engine bay
Here's my old Skyline on route to its new home in Holland with her new paint and kit. House of Kolor again of course.
Any Skyline questions pm and I will try and help.

No idea yet. When would be suitable? As I say, if anyone wants a little Zed meet before we can arrange it for very soon.
How about a meet arranged for when I am back onshore and a run?
Back on the 20th for 3 weeks.
