  1. The Birdview isn't such a bad bit of kit if you buy it already fitted in a second hand car, as i did.

    Couple of issues though.

    1. NO POSTCODE SEARCH, really pain in the ass having to know the full address.

    2. THE NAVIGATION AND TEXT ENTRY, slightly frustrating with that little joystick.

Definitely NOT worth buying one to fit, too expensive, Garmin or Tom Tom is your best bet.

  2. so though I would start small.

    1. Nissan Z valve caps. Check

    2. Nice 350z Boot mat. Check

    3. Private plate. Check

    Mmmm what next..

    4. Well........ Really fancy an HKS supercharger. :)

    5. and to handle the power needs some HKS shocks or similar.

Not really into the lips, spats, sides, spoilers, lambo doors thing

I would be happy to have a standard looking 400 bhp car. :-)

Just taken a 15% pay cut, bloody credit crunch!! so it may have to wait.

  3. Can we have some more details plz.

    1. Where , "somewhere in Docklands" is a bit vague.

    2. When , Sunday 16th November also rather vague.

    Someone make a decision please.

  4. Hi there,

as it happens I popped into the local Nissan dealer on Saturday to check out the pricing for my 27k service.

My Z is an 06 with currently 24k on the clock, so a little to go.

I don't have the details of the service to hand, but the cost was £230 all-inc.

They printed the details out for me too.

BUT they did point out that its annual or 9k so that can vary depending on the previous service history and the mileages you normally do.

  5. 1. Hope you never get a couple needing a lift anywhere for that multi million pound mortgage deal to be finalised.

    2. If your company is footing the bill then its a good tax break although you obviously have to pay it from company funds.

Personally I would think it more appropriate to go for something with a few more seats like an M3, Audi S Series etc... Plenty of oomph but the practicalities as well.

  6. I just bought an Black 06 GT with extras off Ebay and the owner had finance, I paid the finance off directly with the bank, so on the day only £300 changed hands.

I would be careful paying the owner the full amount as there is no guarantee that the loan will be paid, and therefore the banks 'interest' in you car would still be active.

Very smooth transaction for me, so wouldn't worry too much about the finance.

Make sure its all backed up with receipts from the bank and the owner.

    Loving my Z.

  7. That is a pain in the butt. Hope you get it resolved, but when you do there are some bargains to be had.

Just bought a Black UK GT 06 21k miles with some nice extras Sat NAV, Stainless HKS Exhaust, JWT Popcharger, for 16k.

Very pleased, hope you can do the same soon.
