What age of dc5 did you have etc?? what did you get for it if you don't mind me asking?? STOO

I've never driven one before or even sat in one. Can't see it happening though as my car aint selling quick and i can't find anyone wanting a swap / px But i'll keep trying STOO

To comment that i would benefit from driver training is just silly. I had a TURBO car. RWD cars without a turbo are more progressive in there power delivery. my car wasn't. It hit full boost almost instantly and was sometimes un predictable coming out of the corners. It was more when i tried to do 3rd gear drifts etc that i used to scare myself. I've raced on tracks etc so im a really confident driver but my sx was a different beast from a 350 Z. I know the 350 will be harder to controll mid drift because of the weight but like you said i should have said i'm wanting one for the looks and the V6 not because its RWD. I eventualy stayed well clear of the accelerator in my sx in the wet and sometimes in the dry and it was fine. just because i was used to driving flat out in a FWD STOO

Cheers! I've just got to find someone that wants to swap there zed for a faster car and a cheaper one to run too! Running costs don't bother me as i only use my car when i'm going for a wee drive etc, no commuting STOO

so the car will still step out but i take it not as easy as the manual as you can build your revs then dump the clutch etc STOO

Loved the wheels on my almera but the ones i got for the sx were only something like £300 with tyres so i couldn't pass them up. I would have kept the sx is i could have painted it white with a nice kit and some bronze rota GTR's! STOO

yeah i miss my 200sx. Nope they were 18's but the car was lowered! they are pretty low as standard too! Miss shooting 6 ft flames out the back! Don't miss it as much as my car before though!.......... STOO

I'm confused more now! I think my next question will help me though! Can you get the car sidways with an auto?? i.e not high speed but pulling out from junctions etc?? STOO

Your OK, you have TC. I had a 350BHP+ 200sx no TC! Not fun to drive fast on a twisty damp road! my 200........... STOO

Hi, I'm trying to sell my Honda to get a 350z. So i'd be interested in swaps and PX here are some pics I had it imported by dicksons of dunblane last year for £16k They serviced the car when it came into the country and i have since changed the oil once using silkoline pro R oil. (i have only hadthe car for about 2k miles) The car was a 4.5 A i believe. It looks like a new car inside and out. The car is not a C pack which means it has no rear wash wipe of folding mirrors (these just add weight! ) Mileage is 29k miles. Totally standard. Has the carrozella head unit which was an extra option in japan. The flare was removed from the car when it came into the country. I have 3 keys and two fobs for the cat 1 imobiliser. All import documents are held on file at dicksons of perth. I will add pics of the interior this weekend (the interior sold me!) The car will get MOT'd next week and i think it has tax until jan. OK, i'm trying to get a zed. My last RWD car was a 200 SX with 350+ BHP and i really didn't enjoy it too much as it was a handfull in the wet etc. Now i want to return to to a RWD but purely for looks and the noise of the V6. The car i have the now is a DC5 so i'm not getting the 350 for the speed etc Idealy i want a manual but there is a lot of auto triptronics out there. Whats peoples opinion on the auto box?? if it rubbish? My dads FTO was pretty crap. Just a little info to help me choose the best car. Also, i was pretty crap at trying to drift so i won't be doing that with the 350! LOL STOO

why would it need a new clutch so soon? is a Px out of the question?
