If you live in any of the above postcodes you'll know that it used to be impossible for us to quote you under the club insurance scheme. Your mod list in your signature doesn't frighten us. The popcharger in itself only results in a small bhp increase and as long as the combined effect of this and any other mods that are (maybe) not listed doesn't produce an increase of more than 100 over stock we'll be fine for you.

Retained business is 80% and yes, the stats are across all the forums we work with. With over 200 forums on board I'm not able to produce individual messages reflecting each's individual stats as that would take an age. I'm commenting on the success of our car club scheme as a whole given the mix of makes and models.

No-one's suggesting you jump early but you may have bought the car part way through the insurance year. Hope that clarifies it.

There's really good news for many of the members we've previously had to turn down - we've kept on the case with insurers and have been able to negotiate a relaxation of the age & experience criteria for the club scheme. These are the changes from the old requirements where we had them on certain models: OLD RULES - 25+ with 12 months' experience of the car or one of similar performance. NEW RULES - 25+ with 6 months' experience. OLD RULES - 25+ with 24 months' experience or 30+ if only 12 months' experience. NEW RULES - 25+ with 12 months' experience. OLD RULES - 30+ with 12 months' experience. NEW RULES - 28+ with 12 months' experience. There's still some way to go but it's good that we at least have these concessions. Remember to include us in the mix when looking around for quotes. We're still signing up 40% of quotes offered - there won't be many in the industry that can say that.
