MooreT Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Has anyone else experienced this? I have a 2004 model with 25k on the clock. The last few months I've noticed the crunching is getting much worse. Everytime I change from 1st to 2nd is feels very clunky. Anyone experienced this? My local dealership cannot find anything wrong with it. They've took it out on test drives and say it's okay but then I get back in and the problem is still there. My warranty is up in a couple of week so I'm rather nervous. Any advice? T Quote
M13KYF Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 if you do a search on here you find some issues that a few members have had and it's a known problem that Nissan know about. Usually the problem shows on 4th and 6th though. Once the problem has been reported before the warranty runs out, as I understand it, it still gets repaired under warranty even though it has expired. polarbear Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Yep, pretty common on the earlier models. My '55 did regularly, but I was always told nothing was wrong. Quote
MooreT Posted October 22, 2007 Author Posted October 22, 2007 Thanks for the replies - I will get in back into the garage. Just want it fixed now! Cheers Tracey Quote
H5 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 You may need to get them to sit in the passenger seat while you show them. Sometimes they don't see the fault when they test it themselves...... Welcome! Quote
