Head Unit Help.

Hi

 

I was finally getting a chance to finish my HU install.

 

I was putting the gear knob back on, checked everything was all clipped in correctly and something fused. My head unit, SatNav and the trip gauge went out. :scare:

 

I have now changed every fuse I can found in the foot well and bonnet and still no joy.

 

Does anybody have any ideas of what else could it be?

Fuse box behind the battery?

There doesn't seem to be anything to do with the audio / instruments cluster in that collection of fuses, but I supposed I may as well start changing them to see.

Got it, it was the fuse for the mirror in the foot well the only one I did not change initially, how annoying.

 

So the fuse for the mirror, even thought the mirrors work working fine , controls the Sat Nav, stereo, the trip gauge and the instrument illuminations.

 

 

I think somebody in Japan had to much Saki the day they were designing the electrics.
