I managed to get a shot in one on the back of the old man test driving. Very nice solid car. I found it a bit weird how it delivers the power as you can watch the needle going up but it really doesn't feel like its getting faster if you know what i mean. The exhaust is very nice, Chris Harris mentions it in his review and it is a very chunky when it shifts, very addictive!

 

Look great in black with the 19" extras wheels. Saw a matte grey one on the road looks very cool too.

Yes see the amg is sl55 with the 5.4 supercharged engine, the sl500 was just a 5l v8. No amg and a a massive price difference to boot.

 

Mine was a 2007 SL55 AMG..!!

 

Yes it cost me £26,000 and the insurance company paid me out £18k so some Bulgarian owes me £8k...!! :rant:

 

So it wasn't an SL500 AMG then
