High Idle & Strange Noise

Hi all,

 

My first (and hopefully last for a while) problem post.

 

1) There's a strange metallic clicking noise at low speeds coming from what sounds like the back righ axle.

 

2) When starting the car cold first thing in the morning, it idles at around 1500rpm. It only does this for a 5 mins or so and then goes back to normal. I'm thinking this could maybe just be normal?

1) clicky rear axle. Can be fixed if it irritates you but not necessary. See ZMANALEX subforum for his repair kit. Quite a common issue.
