slimjim Posted December 30, 2010 Author Share Posted December 30, 2010 Spot the Muppet! Charged up my battery to check to see how bad it was dead.... Got in, starter her up... perfect no problem. Closed the door.... waited for the dome light to turn off..... waited.... waited.... waited..... Spotted I had left the damn thing on! No wonder after a WEEK with the dome light on the battery was dead... Done two days driving her about now and no problems at all! Saved me Ninety notes.... What a MUPPET I am!!!! alessandro Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 Your time will come matey. Mine lasted into the forth year then suddenly it decided it didnt want to play any more. Would fire no problems after being left for days, then all of a sudden, being left for more than 2 would kill it. Glad I'm not the only one, changed my 3 yr old battery last Feb never had a problem before, this winter I have to jump start her every time I go for a drive ( only once a week ).
