lose bluetooth?

Quick question, have been searching for ages but haven't found a definitive answer on the forum

 

I want to install a new headunit with ipod/usb connectivity because i'm fed up of not being able to use my iphone in the car with decent sound.

 

I am planning on getting the wiring to allow me to use the steering wheel controls. Would I lose the function of my bluetooth?

yes the bluetooth is totaly dependont on having the bose so youl need a new head unit wiht blue tooth and the ipod connections. plenty to choose from though .

An uprade can be done to the fatory unit to use the iPhone/iPod, using the tape deck channel. Mine works great. Got the feed into the top cubby and it just sits there fine and dandy.

 

I'm sure R35LEE can give you advice on that
