  1.

Your ad mentions condition reflective of cars age.....can you elaborate a little please? I'm looking to buy a Z.

Its in good condition for a 7yr old car but it does have a few stonechips on the front bumper and one or 2 marks.

Leather seats have a few marks too on the driver side but this is common due to the cruddy leather nissan used.

But I think you have to really see it to decide for yourself

  2. Guys am i pricing this too high?? or the markets actually that bad?

Ignoring the offers for swaps all I had is 1 viewing and 1 offer of £7k without viewing. At the moment I actually

considering either keeping and it modded it and just use it as a dedicated trackday car or swap it for for a subaru.

  3. Hiya all,

if there is a button where is it cos i ain't seen it

+1 is it standard on both UK and JDM or UK only?

  5. Hiya all just posted to find out if anyone can tell me if they think my window motors going or not?

    Lately on the driver side,

the one touch works all the way going down,

will go all the way down and up when not using the one touch function.

When trying to used the one touch to close the window will not work when window all the way down just makes a clunck and stops. But aslong as abit of the window is up and not fully down one touch works o.k.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Thanks.

  6. Thanx for this info on that, mine is a late 2003 JDM so will look for older car pods now in the hope they work. Don't mind paying around £40-50 for them on the off chance they work but only really had one offer to date and he wanted £125 I think, which is a lot if it aint gonna work.

    Thanx again bud

I been looking for some time and not seen any pods under £150 so far

  7. Measure the tread and see the difference to stock. Anything more than a 2mm or so and get 2 new tyres. After a couple of thousand miles you should be ok replacing one, but it depends how hard you drive.

What caused the blow out? Cant the tyre be bunged?

can be repaired but will have to be done in 2 places as somehow got 2 nails embedded in difference places. Better off with a new tire.

  8. Ok, to continue upon a current topical theme - why do Nissan insist on charging extortionate prices for spare parts?! I give you two recent examples:

I have enquired about pricing on a front plastic number plate surround for my z and was given a price of £78!

I recently had to replace a drivers side wing mirror (just the mirror) - Nissan price £76! When I was running an FD2 last year I had to replace a mirror on that car and Honda charged me £17 on back-order from Holland.

Thankfully, both times I have been able to source the same parts from members on here at a fraction of the price :) Thanks!

Me thinks Nissan are treating us as cash cows, or at the very least taking the p*ss.

You should see what they qoute for parts on my import, as they keep telling me alot of the parts are different and need to get it from japan.

  10. Hi,

Prob's not the best topic, but I'm thinking of selling my Zed 52 plate (registered post march 06) but looking on Pre-loved and Ebay there are no old Zed's and prices have gone up.

I really don't know what to do...

Am doing alot of mileage these days, (64 miles a day) and the tax is still way high... and I'm sorry to say it may get worse.

    Need some guidance.

    Hiya gary

I looking to sell my 52 reg zed too. Like you said it does look like prices have up gone up abit lately this could be due to the 350z not being made anymore so less and less zeds are appearing on the market. As remeber when I first looked ebay had over 200 zed for sale compared to only 84 now and autotrader had over 400 compared to just over 200 nowadays.

or maybe the recessions over and everyone has money again!!!!

    Reg
