well, im looking for £16k ono, mileage ill have to check for you in the morning but think its around the 24k mark, last service wasnt done but brakes are still very good, tyres have plenty of thread and oil was changed 3 weeks ago, its on its third owner, this is because the dealer i bought the car from set off the v5 on my name, i changed it to my mums name later (cheaper insurance ;) )

  3. Yep, it had to happen, Im selling my 350z. Need a bigger car due to baby on the way. Anyways, im looking for £15'000 ono.

    Mileage: 25069

    the specs:

    I.C.E:

    Kenwood DDX-6029

    Infinity Reference 475a 4ch-amplifier

    Infinity Reference 1600a Mono-Block Amplifier

    2 x Infinity Reference 1050w 10â€

  4. Out of intrest how many miles has yours done Mr A? Mines on 50k and biting quite high so i would be looking into doing the same thing as you when it goes.

Ive done very low mileage, somewhere around the 32k mark, clutch is mainly had it because of my brother, everytime i go abroad, he takes the car out and attempts his "tokyo drift" rubbish and what-not. If the car is driven well, then id suspect the gearbox would last a long time.

Having said that, my mates Zed has done 89k on the clock, hes on his 2nd clutch, first one was changed after drift lessons at 57k on the clock.

  5. I have no issues with the new setup. It feels very smoth. Phil mentioned that there may be a little more transmission noise but I havent noticed anything significant.

The clutch itself feels very smooth. I have done about 600 miles since installation and it feels very good.

As for the labour cost for fitting it may be straightforward in terms of technical difficulty but it is not quick so no issues with that eiither.

nice one, so exedy & jwt it is then

  6. By the feel of it, my clutch is almost on its way out. Rather then get a standard clutch in, i thought this might be the best time to get a high performance clutch and flywheel (from understanding the labour costs).

Ive got my eye on the jwt clutch & jwt flywheel, as im not running a F.I. system, im hoping these two would be enough to deal with small modifications to the engine.

Has anyone installed any of the both (or both) and if so, what was the outcome?

The excedy clutch is more than up to the job at £250. JWT flywheel Is £315 and makes the car rev more freely, installation of both £350.

dont suppose you have a less expensive flywheel that would match up to the exedy clutch? also, how different (pressure) would the clutch feel from stock?

and lastly, do you have anyone in london who can do the installation?

Most are around the same price only maybe £10- £15 in it.

We use the JWT as it nice and quiet and good value for money.

Speak to Martin (Martinmacc) on here we have recently installed the same combo for him.

As far as fitting in London any competent garage should be able to do it the 350Z is not a difficult one.

A nissan service centre told me they often replace standard parts for performance parts on customers cars, do you think its worth my while or are they charging bmw-type money these days?

  9. Ive had my eyes on these alloys, not sure if they come in a staggered fitment, but would mostly want these for winter use only.

anybody know if they'll go on the zed??

not enough info on offsets and widths to say if they will or not

thats the problem im having, not too many companies have any info, yet they happily advertise them. ill try finding out the widths & offsets tomorrow and give you a call to check if they're ok to fit, mate.

  10. I love how he shows a pic of a car WITHOUT a Nismo bumper

'Fresh out of the mould'???? Sounds like a copy to me.....

 i didnt get the whole "fresh out of the mould" thing either. but for all we know, the seller might have very limited knowledge of what hes selling.

  11. I got clocked under 'heavy' braking at 111mph and got given a 56day ban and £450 fine but no points. Although at the time I spotted the sneaky pol's hiding on a slip road I was off the clock... that was my first and only offence and am now a reformed driver :teeth:

did you have to do your test again?

  12. How did they get you, if you don't mind me asking?

the 100+ mph, i got caught by traffic officers in an unmarked bmw, they sat me down and showed me the recording.

the 70mph in a 40mph zone, i got caught by a copper hiding behind a tree with a speed detection device (speed gun), when i asked the officer if he should have been hiding behind a bush and then jumping out like someone from a "police academy" movie, he started giving me the whole "im an officer, ill arrest you if i want, so shut up and do what i tell you" attitude.

  13. let us know what you said in case we need to copy!

Just told him the truth, also mentioned that my wife is expecting so im always taking her to hospital appointments and stuff, judge took that into account mostly.

Also, i have a brother who is disabled, so im always taking him out and to the doctors.

So i think he realised that i had it pretty hard already and also mentioned that i sold the porsche ages ago, he asked what i bought, i told him i bought 2 family cars, a nissan & a mazda for the wife. He said "good boy, you seem to have taken your role as a family man very seriously".

He would have flipped if i told him i actually bought a 350z & rx-8.

  14. Tbh, i did deserve it. 135mph on a40 in a cayman s, then exceeding a 40mph zone doing 70mph.

All things considered, i think i got off lightly.

Er, yes I think you did! :surrender:

He was a fair judge, asked me why i shouldnt be banned for more then a year, gave him a few very good reasons and he took it all into account.

  15. Yep, disqualified for 56 days, £200 fine, 6 points when i get my license back.

But miss the zed already, its just sitting there on the driveway saying "come on, mate. a few wheelspins will make you feel better".

  16. was going to try and win it myself for a little project but missed the auction ending

it will most likley be the shine auto project replica as i dont think anyone would be daft enough to pay the amuse prices :scare:

shine do great quality replicas and i think Big Phil and Envy both import them

Tbh, i think you're right, I dunno how to tell the difference between this and the original amuse.

Hopefully, with any extra luck, might come across some side-skirts on ebay too.
