Its going on and on this....after visiting 3 dealers Leeds Bradford and Huddersfield, they have sent me to Bolton to their recommended key company who do seem to know whatthey are talking about. The key DOES have a chip in it and they took chasis number and pics etc and looked to be going well.

Until this morning when I was told that I need to look for a BCM number that is on a small white sticker with a cross on it somewhere on the car....but no clue as to where apparently it has a 5 digit number I need... any ideas where this is???

ANybody got a decent gear knor for my JPM Gun Metal Grey, the one I got with the car is scuffed slightly and would be open to see some new or different types!!!

Got my JDM 4 weeks ago,

1. the Bose system works but thats about it, doesnt look that great and has a tape deck!!! my dealer said they would get it to work for the uk frequencys but couldnt so are going to fit me a new head unit that I will buy.

2. Mine came with Brembos

3. It is on the right and as lomot said you get used to it after a few journeys, my mum and dads car is the same

4. Mine got sorted when SVA'd

Just to let you all know I have spoke to the garage I bought it from and they are having a look into, they are still thinking it will cost a tenner so I told themm thats great and to sort it out. They say when they bring the cars over they put a Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser on the car which is the remote I was given, what they are not sure is if the key is running in tandom with it or it has been made redundant...will keep you informed.

New to the site, and got a lovely 35th anniversary Zed from Jap, the Uk dealer I bought it from told me it only had one key and that it was a simple job to get a new key cut for a tenner as it was not specific to the car, and it was the remotes that were expensive of which I have 2. I have read a few threads on keys and I am a but lost....

Can anyone shed some light if the dealer has sold me down the river (or the M1)

A reasonably priced nismo kit for a gunmetal 350z fairlady fitted if poss!!!

I have got a Jap import bought in the UK, I have a 6cd changer but the radio deoes not work as i cant pick up the english radio stations, tried to get a covertor for it but apparently that does not work so i was told the best thing to do is to get a uk stereo and replace it - but by all accounts they seem quite rare. Is the front bit the thing you need??

They say they will pay for the parts thats needed to fit the stereo but not the actual stereo - any advice on what one to get?

Guys and dolls, great to be here with my new 350z Fairlady. Bought a 35th anniversary edition with Brembos, spolier, heated leather etc etc you know the score!!! Anyway just wanted to say hello and to see if you could answer a few questions for me.

1. Bose stereo system - was told I could get this sorted but the dealer has told me he cant get tit to work on UK stations, should i replace the front panel as they will pay for parts or install a second panel where the sat nav can go?

2. Skid light has come on a few times already cominbg off the motorway at 55 lost the back end a few times - is this me as im getting used to my new car or was it because it was wet??!?!?!?

3. Where is the best place to get a reasonably priced Nismo body kit?

4. I have 2 remotes that open the car but only one key to start the ignition, my dealer told me it only comes withone and that I just need to get a locksmith to copy it for a tenner its the remote that is expensive, is this true.
