  1. Thanks Stew, xstric9x

the 260 is in mothballs at the moment but if I can get her back on the road in time I will definately make the drive! you have some good roads people up there!!

I bought the 260 when I was 19 and loved it so much I couldnt part with it! When Nissan launched the 350, they said they had modelled it on the of the characteristics of the 240/260 and having now owned one they are bang on!

When the buyer was on the test drive this afternoon, we passed an orange zed with black wheels! Think he was suprised when the other driver waived! Freindly bunch!!

    Enjoy your Z's

    Phil

  2. Thanks! what zorst do you have on your new Z?

I thought there was a thread on the site which discusses grounding kits but can't find it

I am not a techy person but here goes........basically a grounding kit is extra earth wiring which is attached to key componants around the engine bay! Early 350's suffered from power blead through bad earthing which in turn reduced the amount of power getting through to the fuel pump, ecu etc. By improvong the earthing all these componants get the right power and therein improves the performance! I noticed sharper throttle response and smoother running which combined improved rthe whole drivability of the car! Think Nismo do a self fit kit but got mine from Spills who used my car as the template for his 350 kit!

Am sure other forum members will come up with a better explanation!!

  3. Hello!

Saw the mongoose zorsts on ebay also........I have a down pipe back fitted to my z.........sounds great and balances well with the stillen intake........allows the engine to breath easily so you can access all the power!

There is a pic of the rear of my car on cars for sale......54 Plate Blade £10,495

Would recommend if you are thinking of getting one!

  4. My interests in Ireland were property related so familiar with your tap analogy!!

I empathise with you on the business front as it sounds like we are in similar positions! Think it is a matter of following instincts, which may be painful at the time, but in the long run you will be pleased you listened to them! :D

Perhaps you could target insolvency accountants and employmnet lawyers........they should have some spare Euro's!!!

    Good luck

  5. my sense of humour is fully intact, I just can't get round all the posts these days.............although i do try my hardest.....

Suprised you have enough time to drive your car with all your keyboard action  ...........good for the environment I guess

Lower and wider would be good but I will leave that for the next owner to play with......that is if there any buyers out there with the cash..........loads of interest with Part Ex but nothing that works :headhurt:

  6. No probs Sarnie! given it was late at night and I was about to smash my laptop with the heaviest thing I could find due to IT rage I wasn't in best humour!!!

What I didn't mention was that I had my girlfreind and two weeks luggage in the back as well as random bottles of wine shoved into every spare space......so makes it less feasable!.........it was fun at the time!

    Thanks for the luck.....!!
