Hi - I was at Oulton yesterday at the Lotus trackday and saw the Zeds around so wandered over to watch you on the drift circuit! Looked like flipping good fun, good to see the pics too!! Nearly popped over to say hello but always find the "you don't know me but I've got one of these" a bit of an odd opener!!

Hmm, tried that and the alarm still went off when I was five paces away - thanks though! I fear I may have no option but to read the manual...

Hi all Just wondering, with all this nice warm weather, is there any way of locking the car without alarming it? I'd like to leave the windows down a bit so it's not too scorchio when I get in to drive home, but not sure how to avoid the alarm going off all the time... Ta v much!

Thanks both! The fluid level is fine, I'm not so much after a solution, more wondering if it was a common problem or not. I'm happy enough that I know it's not right (well, happy might not be the right word but you know what I mean... ) but wondering how much of a battle it'll be to get the dealer to take it seriously. This will be my first trip back with a problem and coming straight from an Alfa I'm very used to attempts at the "they all do that" fob off!!

Hi again all! I've had a quick search through the archives and can't find anything relevant, but I was wondering if there are any known faults with the power steering on the Z? I noticed a bit of a funny thing going on with the steering on Friday, when changing direction quickly (and with vigour ) the steering feels like it's sticking slightly. It still physically steers OK, just takes a bit more effort so I doubt it's anything mechanical. I suspect the power steering is failing to get enough pressure under load so I'm temporarily losing the power assistance... anyone else had this?

Blimey, that's a coincidence!! Much as I loved my GTV, it's a good change, isn't it? But shush, don't tell the Alfa owners... I'm mainly around the Shrewsbury/Bridgnorth area but I do venture further afield a fair bit too! What year/colour are you and I'll keep an eye out?

A good evening to you all! Thought it was about time I said hello and introduced myself, I've been lurking around here for a while and have found this a really useful site, thanks! I've had my Z for about a month now and am absolutely loving it! I’ve just changed from an Alfa GTV that I really didn't want to let go, but one test drive in the Z changed my mind on that and I’m not regretting it one bit! I’m in Shropshire and see a few Zs around and about – and they all seem to be flashers and wavers so I think you must be a friendly bunch! Is there anyone on here from the Shropshire or the Midlands? Anyway, I thought it only polite to introduce myself properly with a photo although I can’t claim to match the impressive arty-fartyness I’ve seen on here so far!! I suppose that’s my lot for now, hope to chat with you all soon!
