It'd be good to find out what products were used.

I will post later today, as i am just off to work.

Looks absolutely stunning. Some nice "pop" going on there. The only thing I would comment on is ideally one should have the tyre dry before applying tyre protectant/shine to ensure full coverage. Really love job though.

Some of the images were taken part way through the detail.

That was only the first coat of rubber protector, it isn't like normal tyre dressing

A second coat was applied which evens things out.

.......I was going to say that I live in Batley so it would be rude not to....but after looking at the list I would be seriously embarassed I think.

I was wondering if this maybe of interest to some of you.

I am holding a Rolling Road day on Sunday 9th Sept for the 200+ club and wondered if anyone on here would like to join us.

The venue is Well Lane Turbo Centre in Batley. (Near Leeds)

This isn't a tuning session, But you will get 2 - 3 dyno runs and the best one will be printed out for your records.

The well lane team will be on hand for advice e/t/c

Its a mixed group of vehicles so will be a good day out.

I use a lambswool wash mitt on the body nd a white microfibre wash mitt on my wheels!

Harrogate is full of 350z, so its a car i am use to preparing.

Every car washer should have two buckets.

 

I am anal and have three. One for doing my wheels, one for shampoo and one for rinsing my wash mitt!

Go one step further, try using two wash mitts, one for the wheels and one for the body.

Hi All,

My name is Dave Naxton i run a Professional Detailing Company,which is based in Harrogate. I have had the nod from the powers above that i can post a few examples of what i can offer you the members of this 350Z forum.

Nothing major to do on this one just a basic gold valet with a polish & Claybar upgrade.

The vehicle was prepaired with Zymol Clear Shampoo, RazeGlaze Claybar System, Zymol HD Cleanse, Zymol Creame. Wheels and tyres were prepared with Raceglaze products.

Thanks for the replies, haven't had the weather or time to give it a proper wax yet and want to make sure when i do the car is as clean as possible.

First wash the car with a good quality shampoo using a wash mitt or a detailing sponge.

Then remove the rest of the paints contaminates (Including dead flys) with a claybar and some clay lube.

Strong chemicals is not the way to go.........
