Update -
I'll be mailing copies of the DVD and update disc from an X-trail unit on Monday. If anyone has the absolute latest official 350Z unit discs - they would be a better bet for Mr Dohnuts, but at least we've got himworking on something!
Alli
Edited to say - The local super only had single DVD rws so slight delay whilst I source the correct media...

Hi - I might have what you need - you have PM

There is no problem at all with buying an import. Suspect repair work and faked clocks are just as likely with a UK car. Why on earth would only Jap imports be faked?
If I were you I'd not buy from an importer's stock but go to auction and get the colour spec and car you want. It's part of the fun checking out loads of Zs and finding a great one.
For the money you have been quoted you would be able to get almost any Z at auction out there in Japan. I paid just a little more for my mint 800 mile "type G". Check it out here: http://www.bluchip.gg/special_orders.htm
You should also deal with an importer that has a man out there in Japan. www.bluchip.gg do this - have bought 2 cars from them and the service and attention is excellent.

Out of interest - how do you get around the coding problem?

looks really nice matey. yeah next time im on the rock well have to do a Z 'island spin' . . . no kevs allowed. . .hehe
Again loving the leather, looks like the seats are more supportive/different too. Can i ask what you paid?
I shyed away from Bluchip and used bonsai cars instead. Not as convenient as Bluchip but , just wanted to try something different. I ended up paying £14250 for my car into Guernsey. Black ST 2003 grade 4.5B 13000 miles with Fujitsubo exhaust.
Jamie
Looking forward to it! Two black Zs stealthing around the island! Well cool. Good to hear you've got an ST - would be good to compare the differences etc. Have you done anything with your JDM stereo?
Sounds like you got a good price there. Mine was a lot more than that but it is a 2006 grade 5 ST "Type G" 1300kms also with the Fujitsubo exhaust. Practically brand new.
Second car from Bluchip - I get on well with them - great fun searching for your ideal car - the guys there just keep looking with you until "the one" turns up. No pressure etc.
Send me a PM when you're next over and we'll have the first Guernsey Z meet. We should get some of the others on the forum to pop over for a summer holiday!
Got any pics of yours?
Alli.

Very nice rims.

thing is... it's not black! IIRC it's similar to brickyard colour, for those who know what a brickyard Z looks like
EDIT: the type G is also in black, thought it was only the colour they call "wine"
Yeah easily mistaken - the official photos from Nissan show off their "Premium Mystic Maroon" which is a 3 coat pearlescent brickyard thing going on. Also comes in pearl black, pearl white and silver. They all have "cabernet" leather.
Cheers for the positive comments everyone! i love my Z

Here's a couple of shots of my new motor looking almost brand new! Photos of just about everything can be found on my importer -Bluechip's website:

Briiliant !
Will try this tonight when I get home. This has made my day.
-
I got a DVD player from a Primera. It was easy to replace from the front.
Are you saying that you didn't need to deal with the lining ?
That would be excellent news as I really don't want to make a mess of mine

Did they write a ‘How To’ so we can have some stickers made to place next to the ‘How to fit a golf bag’ instructions/sticker…
Brilliant idea ! Sounds like it's doable then. Will bear it in mind for emergencies. Managed 3 in a smart once. Rather unpleasant !

Anyone managed to fit a mate (or two???) in the back? Any complaints?
-
Cheers everyone!
- Jamie -we'll have to meet up next time you're on the rock. Bluchip imported it - second car from them - previous was a R33 skyline gts-t.
- About the blue skyline in the picture - that's my brother's future brother in law's which landed in Guernsey on the same boat. It's seriously tricked out - how about that in a 35mph speed limit ! link here:

Alright Sarnie! Yeah it's an 06. Limited edition - sold only from Jan to May 06 - thought I'd join you in the rare club
The Rays are the super lightweight forged - 19s at the rear and 18s front.

Cheers mate. I know what you mean about that photo - just my luck it rained sahara sand the day before! Will get some good ones up at the weekend.

Evening all. I'm proud to announced delivery of my new baby. A Fairlady-z Version ST Type G.
Only been driven around the block by my friendly importer so far - hope to get my hands dirty tomorrow! Very impressed so far
Thing is though - how am I supposed to sleep tonight!?
Reverse engineering sat nav - need UK disks!

Hi Dohnuts - Are you up against a brick wall at the moment without the jap disc? I guess the Jap dvd-rom is no use...?
