  1. Hi guys - am thinking of changing the Front and Rear Nissan badges for the Z-ones but not sure whether to get the chrome or satin ones ??? Does anyone have any pics with either on the car and which do you guys prefer ? Am swaying towards chrome but ........... hmmm.. decisions decisions...

  2. Hi guys - just having my JDM Import Z have its P2 service (@ Glyn Hopkins - Watford) and asked the guy to check the clutch as it was a little heavy (not sure what clutches should be like on these?).

When he called me back he said I needed a new clutch and flywheel which would cost me £1018.00!!!!!!!! I was like WTF!! So said no to replacing that...

I`m sure the clutch on my old Boxster was cheaper to replace!! Seriously.. what is the deal... ? Anyone know a decent independant in or around NW London who can do this job for me at a cheaper price ??

Had them look at the clicking noise which seems the norm on most Z's and he quoted me £300 to sort it (i.e. only re-greasing etc not replacing the parts) which he said would cost £500 more on top!... Is this about right ??

Any help would be great...! Cheers...

from what you say "a little heavy " this is not an unusual observation of the Zed clutch action when coming from another car, probably everything is OK , have you tried another Zed for comparison..? also how many miles has your car covered? :)

Guys tx for the follow-up.... I haven`t tried any other Z to be honest as I bought the first one i saw as it had everything i wanted... but from previous experience having a boxster, I am used to the clutch being a little stiff to press down.. not that it bothers me that much. the car has done 60k so a fair bit but mainly motorway mileage.... but 1k for the clutch/flywheel did seem steep.....
