Are you still coming to Cheddar?

oooo yes! even if am in the Mini Clubman! ... to be fair do not know how long it will take to sell? may even be in the "ginger beast"

  2. Cheeky feckers! Shouldn't they be giving you a petrol allowance if you have to drive an extra 2000 miles for them?

They can't expect you to sell your house and move to your work, right?

Bit of a nightmare I have got a company car , but my wife use that she has a 65 mile round trip , and it's a only for 7 month period am covering it all co*ked up as I used to catch the train in 10 mins away, but where I;m based would take 2 hours on the train and cost a fortune just decided it only makes sense it rubbish but life throws a few curve balls sometimes the sums just do not add up

  4. Hi Guys and Gals

After spending years admiring the wonderful Nissan 350z I decided last year would be the year I would go and get myself the car I had really wanted. I first saw a Sunset Orange GT 350z with matching leather and that was the spec I knew I wanted. This was the only spec for me and it was all down to finding the right car. After searching I came across this great example and was very pleased with my purchase.

Now sadly I only purchased this car a short time ago, but unknown until last week my employer has changed where I’m located to work increasing my commute by an extra 100 miles a day this just would not be financially viable for me am just being realistic, my new role does not change until April but I’m starting to make arrangements now.

    Specification:

The car has only 2 previous owners the last owner owned the car for the past 5 and half years, not only that the car has had every MOT and service done at the same Nissan main dealer in Stourbridge. The car was also originally purchased at Westway Nissan.

    Service History :

All 8 service stamps at Nissan Westway Stourbridge.

    - 9524 – 19275 – 29687 – 38082 P3 – 48415 – 55565 P3 – 60656 – 62805 Last Service.

    Current Mileage 64700 Miles

MOT – All Mots carried out at Nissan Westway (Apart from last MOT Carried out 08/02/2011) So sold with 12 months MOT.

The 350 failed the MOT at first with a small hole in the exhaust system which is once again a common issues with the stock system. After researching the best replacement system I upgraded to a Scorpion Exhaust system which is stainless steel which is supplied with an impressive lifetime warranty the back box and middle section where replaced. Replacement cost £322.00 once again a part upgrade on the basis of keeping the car longer term.

TAX – Current tax disc expires on the 28/02/2011

    Bodywork :

The bodywork is excellent there are no dents , scratches , or marks at all. I am very particular about the bodywork of my cars so other than a few small stone chips there is nothing wrong with the car.

    - When I purchased the car I was unhappy with the amount of stone chips on the front so I had the front bumper resprayed, this is a common problem with the 350 due to the shape of the bumper – at a cost of £370.00 this work was carried out on the 15/01/2011, as you can see I had full intentions of keeping the car.

Alloys – Are genuine forged Ray alloys as you would expect with the GT pack, they are in overall good condition but there are some small signs of bubbling which is a common problem again.

+ All four tyres fitted with correctly designed Bridgestone’s tyres with excellent tred +

    Interior :

The interior is in full working order, the leather is in good condition for the age and mileage no issues to report.

    Engine :

In excellent running order as you would expect very smooth no issues, an impressive 3.5 v6 with 286 Bhp with sub 6 sec performance I have comfortably achieved 31.5 mpg on a run and 27.5 mpg combined.

    Spec List:

    • And much more!

    • Provided with Full AA Car HPI check which is completely clear of course! which is warranted and validate by the AA

    Price :

Am advertising the car for the priced I paid for it £8195.00 as it was such a short time ago I feel considering the spec and equally important the history which is hard to find an example as comprehensive as my car. I have of course paid out £742.00 out since ownership which am not looking to recoupe.

    - Part Exchange – I would consider a p/x maximum price of £4000 only clean cars with good history and fair prices please only.

Please if you have any questions or quires please do not hesitate to contact me

  5. Hi Guys

The garage has just fitted my exhaust :teeth: and they said they had the normal trouble getting the old one off as garages say to bump the labour up.

I just love this. All garages are out to 'rip you off' right? What a joke. Did it ever occur to you that the garage might have had to spend hours removing the exhaust because of rust and muck effectively welding the joints together? Who's fault is that then? Should the garage have to take a hit because of the condition of a car they do not even own?

Buddy, sadly like everything in life there is always a small few who ruin it for the good garages, I’m being somewhat flippant with my response, but every job always seem to take twice as long in my experience only when I do not personally know the garage owner. No insult intended to the garage owners / mechanics out there :)

  6. Mmmm not great  I thought the Scropion was the one to have?

Yes that's what I thought, if you mean the heat shield, no they didn't, but it was vibrating on the long pipe, that fits onto the old bit

I have the same probem. The mid pipe sits on the brace that goes under the car. I need to get the brackets heated up and moved. So that they sit properly.

    Pain really

Thanks for your input, so if you heat up the brackets would this void your warrenty?

  7. Hi Guys

The garage has just fitted my exhaust :teeth: and they said they had the normal trouble getting the old one off as garages say to bump the labour up.

They said to me that there is a metal plate above the back box and they said about cutting it as it sits very close to it and is vibrating against it a little at low revs.

My question is can they cut this? also is it been fitted correctly in the first place? is this normal problems some advice would be great as they seem a little confused as they said they did not want heat up the brackets for it to sit lower just in case it voided the warranty.

    Thanks in advice Patrick

P.s Also they removed the bracket in the bottom picture it this normal???

  8. Yeah put me down B)

My new exhaust will be fitted by then :teeth: , not intended but my stock exhaust had a hole in it so well I had to get a replacement went for the scropion exhaust cannot wait :yahoo:

First mod o dear here we go again

Haha I think I won that bet =p Have to admit I didn't think it would be that quick!

:lol: well it failed its MOT on the exhaust only thing thankfully, I was looking around OEM replacement 500 quid  so scropion was only £332 so had no choice really ... well thats what I told the wife ;)
