Great.... so that means for 2007, only the header is different, the rest (i.e. downpipe, Y pipe, catback) are all compatible with VQ35DE exhaust components?

Can anyone tell me whether the FGK Legalis - R fits fits the MY 2007 car with the VQ35HR engine?

Forgot to ask, did you go for one of the new colours?
Dave
nope, I didn't even know about the new colours when i placed the order. Went for silver.

Sorry didn't make myself clear.... I'm buying it in Hong Kong not in the UK!!
Nice one , hows the end cost compare to a UK supplied car?
PS. I'd hold off on the grounding kit as I don't expect it will direct fit, but I'm sure there will be one available soon.
Dave
Converted back into Sterling it came out just over 27 grand, not bad considering cars here get taxed a lot.

didn't know they would bring it in so soon in the Uk though, only Feb? it's not out in the US yet!
The 07 model has been available to order in the US since early November, and customers are starting to get their hands on the 07 recently.
Sorry didn't make myself clear.... I'm buying it in Hong Kong not in the UK!!

Hello guys I've ordered a 2007 350z with VQ35HR engine.
When is it arriving? Whats the difference in the new engine?
Should be arriving in February. Oh there's a massive thread about the differences, but mainly more power (313ps) ,higher redline (7500rpm) and dual intake,

thanks! Let me know if you are making a grounding kit for the HR engine.

Hello guys I've ordered a 2007 350z with VQ35HR engine. Can anyone tell me whether the Spiils grounding kit will fit on this engine? I haven't seen the car yet so don't know those grounding mount locations.

Hi guys newbie here, I have done the search already but can't find the answer so pls don't shoot me down if its been answered before. Not yet got a Z seriously thinking about getting one. Got a few Qs hope anyone here can help
1) I got an Alpine CDA-9855R, if I were to get a Z with BOSE can I simply buy a Nissan to ISO harness and exchange the stock BOSE headunit with the alpine ?
2) I know about the BOSE system with 2 Ohms speakers rather than the standard 4 ohms, so can I still keep the alpine headunit and connect the stock amp to the alpine pre-out and then use the 2 ohm speakers?
3) Do I need any sort of aerial adaptor or can I plug the stock aerial straight into the alpine?
thx everyone for the help.

some more info:
"NISSAN DEVELOPS NEW-GENERATION V6 ENGINES
--Engines to power all-new Skyline to be released this autumn--
TOKYO (Aug. 22, 2006)--Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., has newly developed two new-generation six-cylinder V-type engines for front-engine, rear-wheel-drive vehicles featuring powerful performance and improved environmental friendliness.
The 3.5L VQ35HR and 2.5L VQ25HR engines will be built at Nissan's Iwaki Plant in Fukushima Prefecture and will be equipped in the all-new Skyline to be released this autumn in Japan, as well as the US where the model is sold as the Infiniti G35.
So it is not going to be fitted in the 2007 350Z then? Only the Infiniti G35 and the Skyline in Japan.

Do anyone of you rate this car>? I have a 07 Z with HR engine and got left behind with some "spirited" driving. Just checked the stats the S5 has a de-tuned RS4 / R8 engine but still coughs out 354 bhp.....
