Cos its too expensive
So oh wise ****ing one, how much should it self for?
If the dealer is willing to offer me 17.5k for it then how much should I get for it privately? because I thought 19k was a fair deal.
-
Looks like this is going to the dealer then
-
Price reduced but also the wheels and exhaust have been removed from the deal.
You should remove those details from your original post.
I did

It’s time for me to move on from 350z ownership, it’s been a great time but I find myself driving my wife’s car much more than mine (mainly because of our son).
I simply can’t justify having the car in the garage now
Here are the details.
A 2007 Temper Orange 350Z (313bhp) registered September 2007 but on a personalised 07 plate.
GT Pack (250 watt Bose sound system, with 6 disk CD changer, cruise control, heated seats all the usual good stuff)
Full Nismo Body Kit
Nismo LMGT Wheels
StuartB Tonneau Cover
350z floor and boot mats
Black leather seats
Air con
Stability control
Integrated Bluetooth phone system (steering wheel controls)
Stillen True Dual Exhaust
Stillen Intakes
Full Body Paintshield (the first 350z to have it done).
It will come with the plate MY 07 ZED (cherished plate).
Sub 9000 miles.
Purchased but not fitted.
Braided Brake Lines
Bonnet lifters
I am looking for £19000 for the car.
No outstanding credit on the car.

Yes, you will need a jack and torque wrench

Whilst the 19th is probably out (big project going live "supposedly" that weekend), I am up for some other mini meets.
I am Colchester based so let me know.

While I was getting my suspension fitted at Big Phil's, someone from the site asked me what the benchmark ringtimes were (I said I'd look into it). I checked with my mate, and he can do it in c. 8 mins 45 seconds (He won his Zed racing on a Playstation); he said the benchmark was c. 8' 20".
TBF your mate is a hawaii shirt wearing lucky bugger and if he win's the GTR the same way will lose a lot of mates
-
I know exactly how you feel mate, am really gutted for you.
I do hope any mods were indicated on the insurance form, don't want them playing silly buggers with you because it's not been noted.
-
TBH you can't go much wrong with the Nismo zorst. I owned one on the last car and loved it, saying that tho the Stillen True Duel I have on the new car is just as awesome if not better (it certainly put's a smile on my face )
-
Bloke driving on his own, you were heading towards Lt. Hadham, I managed a wave and flash :bye:
Anyone on here?
It 'could' have been me, I live just up in Colchester... but I am not sure if it was (I go down the 120 quite a lot).

MY08
in 350Z General
they only recently upgraded so would suprise me if they made any significant upgrades this year.Thats what they said in 06 about potential changes for 07
OFC that could be because of the oil issues tho
-
Does the MY07 come with the V1, V2 or V3 nismo kit from factory now?
In the states its only the V3
It was the V1 when I got my car, apparently V2 has been discontinued and as far as I know V3 is only on the version Nismo car.

Our guy here, has had a major with the Paintshield stuff as you lot call it. Bugs got baked into it on a few long trips, ended up being a mission as the dealer had to get the installer back in who didn't know what to do to fix. Took a few months or so.
The thing to remember is that not all paint protection film is Paintshield film. I also understand that Paintshield is just the UK (European) arm of the company (X-Pel) and as such wouldn't be the guys who did the work in NZ.
I highly recommend Paintshield and would never buy a car without it (I have had two done now).
-
I may as well put one up.
-
Ooops. Not the prettiest sight.
Tell me about it, even worse when I saw it happening.
-
I had to laugh at the description and price
-
Saw them on a car at a car rally once, would have to say that I wouldn't do it, it looked cheap and tacky (but that goes along with the whole 'get what you paid for' thing I guess) as well as causing issues to the rest of the chassis (door wouldn't close properly and knocked against the bodywork).
-
Not convinced you read my first post SimonD, but think its quite apparent that I'm aiming to run ONE very nice car and as such it will have to be used more than just for sticking bits of flash kit on........ I dont see how using a motor for 3 or 4 days a month mountain biking (being realistic) requires someone to buy a 'transporter' but i'll confine your comments to the 'less useful' section.
By all means confine my comments to the 'less useful' section but remember you asked for and received advice. I too will be interested in seeing what happens in the next 8 - 10 months (allowing you to get your finances in sync and then having had the car for a couple of months) and seeing whether your solution worked for you. Having been a member of a number of Z sites over the years I really haven't seen too many people championing the bike\roof rack thing.
-
In all honesty mate if you want to carry bikes etc around then you're probably better off with a different car than the Z, the Z isn't the most spacious of things, it's lardy rear end will be ruined by the addition of a bike rack and it deserves much more than being used as a bike carrier.
The Z is a fantastic car but not suited as a transporter.

I don't want to offend anyone here so please don't take this colour business the wrong way BUT, I think it's a good thing if you're a TO owner that they've stopped doing it. When I was looking for a Z the first thing I said was I definitely don't want silver - nearly all the ones that were for sale at the time in my price range were silver or GM and all the ones on the road I had seen were silver as well, i wanted something more unusual and that's why I think the orange will re-sell just fine. Bet if you do an autotrader search now there will be tons of silver ones. It's a stunning colour but it's not always a good thing when it's too easy to get hold of.
I agree entirely Nixy, it's funny I was asked via pm on the other site how I felt about it, to me it makes my car all that more special, it's now a very limited edition car probably more so that the UY. To me that's great.
-
I actually haven't seen TO in the flesh.
Shame I can't get up to Scotland then, I love the colour of the car and in a way I am glad that they have stopped the colour, just means my car will be even more special.
-
i can honestly say that that colour wont become the most popular for new zs!
You would be surprised, it's bloody lovely in the flesh.
