  1. Hey guys,

It's been a while since I posted on here (as I no longer have my zed....hope ab350z is still enjoying her!).

A friend of mine at work (Nissan Technical Centre Europe) is selling his zed so I thought I'd help him out by posting it up on here. It's been well looked after and looks like a bargain Kuro! Please call him if interested.

  2. Hi guys and gals,

It's been a while since I last visited, mainly because I've only just got over having to sell the zed but I understand Chris (ab350) is taking good care of her now ;)

Anyways, I still have a few spares in the garage and could do with freeing up some space. PM me if you're interested, I'm open to reasonable offers.

    - Rear JDM Gunmetal bumper in excellent condition. £30

    - US spec 2 DIN CD headunit - This came with my car when I bought it, and acts as a good, cheap, OEM looking replacement for the single DIN JDM spec headunit! US radio station frequencies are more like those in the UK so now you don't have to put up with only listening to Radio 2! £40

    - Set of used cats, which I bought as spares incase the bolts came off mine when fitting an aftermarket exhaust. Some small knocks on the heatshields and one bolt has sheared but can be drilled out. £30

    - UK spec combi switch (indicator stalk on LHS rather than RHS). £20

    - Air mass flow meter. £10

    - Brand new NISMO side and bonnet stripe stickers (Red/Black/Silver) - Not genuine Nismo. £20 (I paid over £40 for them on eBay)

    - Steering wheel caps without stereo/cruise buttons. £10

    Cheers

  3. Updated again.

Whilst having a sort out in the garage, I stumbled across a few more items that I've added to the bottom of the original list. I've also reduced the prices on a few things as I'd like to get rid of everything before I move into my new place next month!

  4. Hi guys,

Now that the zed has gone, it's about time to get rid of all the spares in my garage!

    Parts include:

    - Full set of barely used Bridgestone Potenza RE040 tyres (225/45/R18 front, 245/45/R18 rear - all with 7mm+ tread). **SOLD**

    - Set of European spec dampers 'brand new, never fitted' - I had planned to fit these to my JDM Version-S as the ride tends to be a bit hard but unfortunately I never got around to it. These would be ideal for someone with a pre-04 JDM. As I work at NTCE, I know that these were one of the main changes for the European market Zed and they do make quite a difference to the ride! **SOLD**

    - Rear JDM Gunmetal bumper in excellent condition. £30

    280420061.jpg

    - Set of pre-06MY rear lamps in excellent condition. **SOLD**

    - JDM cockpit module centre trim, gearshift surround inc. HVAC controls, and side trims. - These trims were fitted to the earlier JDM models and have the retractable storage lid, which would be great for a stealth LCD screen mod! **SOLD**

    - US spec 2 DIN CD headunit - This came with my car when I bought it, and acts as a good, cheap, OEM looking replacement for the single DIN JDM spec headunit! US radio station frequencies are more like those in the UK so now you don't have to put up with only listening to Radio 2! £40

    USheadunit.jpg

    - JDM combimeter (reads in kilometres) and centre gauges - These came with my car when I bought it, as they were changed for US spec units when it was imported to the UK way back in 2003 before the zed even came to Europe. Therefore I imagine that the 'mileage' is very low on it although I do not know the exact figure. Good condition bar some small marks to the aluminium surround of the combimeter, which can be changed anyway! **SOLD**

    - Set of used cats, which I bought as spares incase the bolts came off mine when fitting an aftermarket exhaust. Some small knocks on the heatshields and one bolt has sheared but can be drilled out. £30

    - Official 350z leather wallet with UK owners manual and 'blank' warranty/service book. (one of these sold for over £60 on eBay a few weeks ago!) **SOLD**

    - Brand new set of Brembo rear brake pads. **SOLD**

    - OEM retractable cup holder. **SOLD**

    - Steering wheel caps without stereo/cruise buttons. £10

    - OEM Front number plate carrier (JDM - square plate). **SOLD**

    - Brand new unpainted replica NISMO rear bumper spats - These will possibly need some tinkering and maybe even some filler to get a good fit, but I have seen some US cars with them blended into the bumper and they look B) . **SOLD**

    DSCF0198.jpg

    - Brand new never fitted in-car DVB freeview TV receiver - **SOLD**

If you are interested in any of the parts then send me a PM. No unreasonable offers refused!

    Cheers

  5. It's very close so far. But judging by the comments I think I'm more inclined to opt for the Toyo's now as they seem to have a better grip in the rain and i live in Scotland where as you know rain is more prevalent :D

However it seems the Falkens are harder wearing.

Hmmm I think I'll opt for the Toyo's seeing as I haven't seen much of that big yellow thing in the sky and it's September now.

If it's wet grip you want, get some Michelin Pilot Sports. I would never scrimp and save when it comes to tyres. As tyres are the only part of the car in contact with the road, they are without doubt the most important part of any car!!! ;)

  6. There are other differences (e.g. no headlamp washers, VDC instead of ESP, etc but none of them are issues IMO)

VDC and ESP are the same thing! ESP is more commonly understood in Europe so renamed for this market! ;)

From what I've read, most people get annoyed with the headlamp washers when they come on automatically! haha

  7. about time , this is one of the nicest Zed's around for any money

anyone on here bought it ??

Cheers Tim, that car was more of a hobby than a commuter, so it was pretty hard to hand the keys over! lol

A guy from Aberdeen has bought her. I think he spotted it on the OC, but I left the 350z-uk window sticker in, so I'm sure he'll pop over here!

For anyone up in Aberdeen, keep your eyes open for her and keep me posted!!! haha

  8. ill take it!!! pm'ed u buddy!!!

think was i just liked the exhaust note as standard thats why **** find my mind up!!! plus had a system on a type R and that just made it sound a lil to corsaish if u get me  and to loud at crusing speed on the motorway!!!!

Sorry mate, somebody else beat you to it! Now sold I'm afraid :headhurt:
