Ok guys Midlands Meet 3 is here !!!8)
Midlands Meet 3 April the 23rd from 12 miday
As some of you already know after the success of the last meet i took you to what is to be our new permanant location on a monthly basis.
Midlands Meet 3 and further meets will be held at The Bubble Inn, Stenson near Derby.
This is in a great location right by the canal and has ample parking for our needs and does a great carvery meal. Also is a great family pub so you can bring the mrs and the kiddies and know there in good hands ;-)
Bubble Inn is a popular meeting place and at present is used monthly by Dave and his 200+ club ,MLR and others
Also on production of a recognised Owners Club card you get 10% discount off your carvery meal..
I hope the usual lot will be attending and lots of new people will join us

Directions :
From M1 northbound :
Leave at Junction 24 and take the A50 towards Derby, leave at Junction 3 and take the A514 towards Swarkestone. Just before the Crewe and Harpur pub, turn right onto the A5132 towards Willington. After about 2 miles take a right turn signposted to Stenson/Findern, this will bring you into Stenson, turn right over the railway bridge and the car park is on the right.
From M1 southbound :
Leave at Junction 24A and take the A50 towards Derby, leave at Junction 3 and take the A514 towards Swarkestone. Just before the Crewe and Harpur pub, turn right onto the A5132 towards Willington. After about 2 miles take a right turn signposted to Stenson/Findern, this will bring you into Stenson, turn right over the railway bridge and the car park is on the right.
From A52 westbound :
Leave on the Derby ring road (A5111), following the ring road in a clockwise direction, passing the Showcase cinema on the left hand side. Stenson is signposted on the junction to the left at the next roundabout. Continue straight ahead until you reach an island, continuing straight ahead until you reach the pub with the car park on the left.
From A38 northbound/A50 westbound :
Leave at the junction where the A50 and A38 cross onto the large roundabout. Follow the markings on the road saying B5008. Leave by the B5008 exit, signposted to Willington. Then turn left, taking the A5132 towards Swarkestone. After the cooling towers on the left, take the next left turn, signposted Findern and at the next junction turn right towards Stenson. When in Stenson, turn left over the railway bridge and the car park is on the right.http://[/url]http://

Well another monthly meet over !!
I picked up a couple of the guys en-route and we arrived at Donny Services in plenty of time.
Over the next couple of hours all the others arrived, a much better turn out than last time with over 25 cars at one point. Im sure there would of been more but the M1 was shut a few junctions down.
A good selection of cars from all the clubs turned up
7 Pulsars, Skylines, 200sx, Supra and a few odds and sods , But the highlight for me was 3 guys from the 350Z club turned up and let us have a good look round the cars . Good effort guys.
Again lots of new faces and some of the old faithfulls were there. A big mention goes out to the 2 guys who bought thier Pulsar all the way from Heathrow to come to the meet , now thats dedication thanks for the effort boys.
We then left the services and headed cross country to The Bubble Inn at Stenson to meet up with Dave and his 200+ club meet held there today. By the time we had all parked it was pretty full.
By this time it was head for the pub and a well earned pint and a carvery meal mmmmmm
I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who turned up nice to see you all and roll on next month at our New Venue
I will post up details of Midlands Meet 3 as soon as i have confimation of the dates

I am Midlands Rep for the GTI-ROC and would like to invite your club to attend our monthly meet
The date for the New Midlands Meet 2 is Sunday March 19th
We would really love some of you guys to come along and show us your machines
Again to be held at Donnington Services Northbound J23A M1
We have written permission to be there
We will be kicking off again at 12 miday
After a good chat and look at the cars we will have a saunter through the countryside and maybe again try to get in to donnington race track.
I will be inviting Gti-roc,Modifiers,Sox,Sxoc,350z,300zx clubs along as well
