I'll have the clear reflectors if they're still available, mate

Sorry about that. I'll delete a few posts.

They have been snapped up Kyle (the one post that got through ;) )

    Thank you for your interest.

  2. So I've sold my 350z and have the following for sale.

  4. It may be me - I am a bit thick..

I have a few items for sale and I'm wanting to post them on the forum before I sell elsewhere.

Can someone give me an idea on how to add the images? - I see for example, that I can upload 1.29k to the post. (You can upload up to 1.29K of files (Max. single file size: 1.29K)

This is very small and to comply the image would have to be less than 50 x 20 pixels, making the image too small to view?

    Am I missing something here?

    Thanks

    Neil

  6. HI Renegade,

When I select 'download phone book' I see image attached. If I select 'yes', the Bluetooth connection drops and I see the second message. I do not see any prompt on the phone to add a passkey so I select 'done'. Bluetooth connection is restored.

If I select 'No' to the 'Add to handset memory message' nothing happens.

I am convinced there is a fault with the Media System but need to prove this so that Nissan take notice.

    Thank you for help.

  7. Thanks again, Renegade,

I actually said out loud 'that makes perfect sense' when I read your post so I ran to the car with great anticipation. Unfortunately it did not work :(

The message 'add to handset memory' message appears and I click 'OK'. At this point the bluetooth drops - can't work it out.

    I'll keep on it though.

    Thanks again.

  8. Hi Renegade,

Thanks for this, but I know I am connecting correctly. My problem is that when I select the 'download phone book' option, Bluetooth disconnects. When I hit the 'OK' button to continue, Bluetooth reconnects.

Nissan are suggesting it is a iPhone issue but I have tried several phones (friends) and the issue remains.

I guess that as no one seems to have an issue, it must be the car system, but I need to convince Nissan of this...

    Thanks

    Neil

  9. Hi,

    I have purchased a 370z 2016 plate.

I cannot download my iPhone 6 phone book to the car and therefore cannot see any caller display.

When I select 'download phonebook' the bluetooth connection drops. I then select 'OK' and the bluetooth connection restores.

Has anyone managed to download their phonebook to the car and if 'yes', can you tell me how to do it please?

Nissan technical have said 'that's how it is on the 370z' which I find hard to believe.

    Thanks in advance.

    Neil

  10. Thank you very much..

I can see the recent call history but not any address book contacts.

I do not have any manuals at the moment as the garage left it out of the car!

I'll read the Quick Reference link you sent.

    Thanks again

    Neil

  11. HI all,

Just upgraded to a 370z GT (from 350z).

    It's a 16 plate and I have an iPhone6 running iOS 10.1.1

Has anyone managed to download their contacts to the car's address book? If yes, can you tell me how to do it please? Call me thick if you like :)

I cannot get it to work.

    Thanks

    Neil

  12. OK,

So I've been messing around with the configuration to play mp3's from a USB memory stick. It's taken me ages so I thought I would share it with you all.

Format the USB stick to FAT32 - that's it

You can then load in folder format Artist-Album-MP3's (or just Album-MP3's)

You can then play by album and not just 'all tracks'.

If you have the album details, it will also display the album cover.

    Hope this helps?

  13. Hi mate is this the one with the apple play?

    Does the Bluetooth work properly?

Is it just all plug and play mate? Or any wiring needed into the bose amp?

    Thanks mate

Yes, this is the Apple CarPlay head unit.

I have left all the connections in tack and all you need to do is plug it in to the existing car wiring. The loom also has the modified connection to the Bose Amp as well (see previous forum posts http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58947-reduced-sound-out-put-after-replacing-oe-bose/). No wiring needed.

I ran a USB cable to the centre console so that I could plug my iPhone in to use the Sat Nav etc.

I also connected an external hard drive (SSD) with 150Gb of music and video and just added new albums as required.

    Yes, Bluetooth works perfectly.

This is a great head unit and I am only selling because it won't fit in the 370z.

  14. Well...

I finally decided to upgrade to a 370z which means I do not need the Pioneer SPH-DA120 Head Unit (taken from my 350z).

This unit is in full working order, has the alternative 'sound' connectors for connecting to the Bose Amp, the 350z bezel and also the Steering Wheel Control harness (cost £80.00).

    No marks or scratches.

If anyone is interested in buying this, I'm looking for £200.00 plus £10.00 courier delivery - forum members only.

I'm more than happy to answer any questions :)

  15. Just a thought...........

I know CDs are old hat but had my six favourite discs in the 370 that when I did play one you all the details on the screen and easy to locate the tracks you wanted.

Sad to say that Brown Sugar got overplayed.....

But the best music for me was that played by the 370 with the synchro rev 'encouraging' gear changes far more than necessary. Lol

    I'll get me coat now!

  16. I'm using an old iPod Nano I had lying around from the days when I was a 'Hip Dude' :p An issue I found with just a USB stick was the headunit didn't sort the songs by the folder structure on the stick, just presenting you with an endless list of ALL your songs with no easy way to search for something in particular.

If you know that you're only ever going to set it to shuffle and leave it, then a USB stick is fine - otherwise it turns into a massive ball-ache when you want to find that perfect rockin' track to blast too.

That's not good to hear mate.

Have you tried the onboard HDD feature? is that the same?
