Be interesting to see the results from the UTEC, does look like an excellent system.
The unichip certainly does the business for my car, but if i were to get a tuner kit, I'd look at something like the UTEC, definitely.
It will be interesting to see the N/A gains. Im sceptical about the figures the guys in the US post. Their WHP figures seem to equate to our flywheel figures. People with the APS kit for example just cannot be running say 50WHP over what we get over here at the same boost level, it aint possible.
The dyno will reveal all, I suppose.

Didnt do the plenum, but got test pipes and the APS exhaust.

Yes, G-Force.

No, I started looking round the old board just as it closed, just as a guest. Dont usually sign up for these forums, but liked the look of this one.
I got my APS install done late last year. Love it!

What he said, basically.
Driving style comes into it - if you want your power on tap at all times then a Twin Turbo setup gives you that, but it has the disadvantage of being slightly more jittery, more fuel hungry, and putting a greater load on the engine at most times. The Supercharger doesn't really have the power until you start creeping over 2000 revs, and then only really noticably over 3000 revs, which means it's not immediately available unless you drive in the permanent high rev bands, but then will be less stressful on the engine and better on fuel when driving normally.
That's why I like the SC - you choose how it effects your car on the basis of how you choose to drive.
How does the TT kit make the car jittery??? my car runs as smooth as silk with the APS kit on it. You can drive the car off boost, so you can choose how turbo's affect your driving. If you dont put your foot down, you dont boost.

I would say its too early to say whether the JWT is as well built as the APS as it hasnt been out long at all. Does look good though.

New to this board, just popped in to say hello.
N/A & FI UTEC benefits (split from UTEC thread)

I think its a great deal that you have got on this UTEC system, very good indeed.
This thread has decended into personal insults, but Im not convinced Laguna/martin (whatever) is fully to blame. Maybe as 'Admin', you should be setting a better example, Theminel, you are very childish and aggressive in your attitudes.
Anyway, lets see what dyno results follow!
Be nice to see some action instead of just talk!
Good luck.
